"Hey," Hijikata shifted uncomfortably, "This isn't an ice cream stand," he pointed out, feeling like a dupe.

Asriel laughed softly"Nope but they do serve the best ice cream"she smiled a bit

"Isn't this date central?" he sniffed, rather uncomfortable. He didn't even know this girl! He thought he was being hounded down rather un-subtley.

Asriel sighed"no..I just thought i'd be nice and take you to the place I thought had the best ice cream but if you'd rather not be here it's fine"

He pursed his lips. "Yeah, you know what? All the comments about my magnificent body, and then dragging me to the most romantic joint in town, all under the pretense of friendly ice cream? You're sort of forcing this, aren't you? C'mon. I know a nice guy in the park with a stand. He makes his own ice cream; it's really amazing." The snob hill rich girl with privileges treating him like a boy-toy was rather off-putting. He could really go for something casual, like a walk in Magnolia park with some drippy ice cream cones and a bag of seed for some of the birds. It didn't take much to please him, and this was way overwhelming. He did not like the idea that this girl was trying to intimidate him into liking her.

Asriel nodded"Alright and..I'm sorry I didn't mean to come off that way.."she gripped her arm under her cloak,she wwasn't sure what to do"I just thought you might like the ice cream here and I tend to come here by myself but again I am sorry"

Hijikata grinned and took her arm. "C'mon, sickkie. Lemme take you around town," he offered. He felt guilt for being so defensive when -just maybe- she was trying to be a decent human being. He hoped she didn't hate her new nickname too much.

Asriel blinked and she nodded"O..okay"she looked at him when he called her sickie but she didn't say anything

"C'mon. You need an ice cream cone, not an ice cream sundae. You need to climb a tree and get some scraped knees. You need to get pushed in the duck pond while feeding the tadpoles," he grinned. "Everything tastes better with just a little bit of life."

She smiled a bit"Okay"she then waited for him to lead the way

He led the way, almost dragging the S-Class mage. He wondered if hanging out with her might get him killed. S-Class, he'd heard, were temperamental.

Laxus smiled over at her. He thought about first impressions, but he was so famous why did that matter.
" So what magic do you specialize in" he asked, eagerly.
He wondered if she acted so haughty and vain, becuase she was weak. BUt then again, why would the master choose her for S-class if she was weak. He shrugged his shoulders.

Yunna shrugged. " I use plant magic," she said. "Nothing to special on it's own, but I make up for it," she said proudly.

Laxus laughed heartily. Plant magic? he thought. He shrugged his shoulders again. He had went out with a hot pink haired girl who also had plant magic, but she was too soft and laxus ditched her. Laxus laid his hand on the table, and created a small electrical spark, nothing dangerous. He looked into Yunna's fierce and beautiful shining eyes. he thought wistfully.He didnt wanna get too attached to the girl becuase they may have to fight in a few days, and he vowed not to go soft on anyone.
" So what do you thin of the s-class exams" he said, the small spark still wriggling on the table.

" Well I'm not sure. This would be my first time going, so I son't know much about where we're going," she admitted. Placing both hands under her chin she observed him carefully. " but you've been there, what is it like?" She asked.

Laxus gave a coy look for a minute.Oh so she is eager to find out more about S-class. Hmmmm he thought. Maybe he could use that to her advantage. " Um.. all I can say is that they are extremely difficult. You may think it will be a walk in the park, but trust me its not. You will be physically broken and put back together. And it requires a ton of magic ability. If you don't have what it takes you could be eliminated in the first round, and thats embarrassing."
He could remember it like it had just happened yesterday.
" I had to go up against the old man and I had to beat Gildarts and Mystogan, not trying to say they are more powerful than me, but still." he said.

" Oh no, not like that. I mean what's it like there? Is it hot? Cold? I need to know what to wear, so even if I do loose I'll loose with more style than any of the other contestants could dream of," she said, striking a pose. She paused for a moment before adding, " also so I don't, you know, go dressed unprepared.

Laxus was a little taken aback, she did realize this was a rigorous course of test that wouldn't be all fun and games when the time came. He stifled a laugh and raised his hand again. A waiter came carrying 2 hot bowls of ramen. He waited for yunna to take the first bite, because it was the polite thing to do.

" Come on, can't you just tell me what it's like there? It's important to look good in every situation," she said before taking a small bite. She was trying her best to eat properly and not look uncouth.

Laxus felt uncomfortable, the old man said not to give out too much information to the newbies, he didnt want any of them cheating or getting the upper-hand. Laxus just gave another smile, hoping to distract her. " All I can say is that you wanna watch your back, the forest on Tenrou Island is probably the most dangerous thing you will have to look out for." he said " Teeming with powerful S-class monsters, poisonous plants, and you will be put through a lot of endurance. " He finished. The description was discreet as he could make it.

" Trees and poisonus plants hmm?" Yunna said with a smile. " That really IS dangerous!" She said, hiding her devilish smile behind a kinder one. That sucker gave her far more information than he thought. Did he forget she was a plant mage? She could easily harvest the seeds in the forest for her own gain. Use the poisonus plants against other contenders, but she'd need to being her antidotes as well, in case things get too extreme.

Laxus was a little creeped out by the girls smile. Damn, was that a little too much information he thought. She was a plant mage after all, she wouldnt have any problems in a forest filled with plants, but could she handle the man-eating animals, the giant snakes and killer insects. We'll see . He gulped down a spoonful of ramen, it was hot, but the temperature was no problem for him. Especially with that bone-head Natsu around. Thank god he was on a quest right now, or he would have demanded to be in the S-class again.

Yunna stopped eating for a moment and bent forward just enough so that her low cut shirt reveal a bit more bust than usual. Hoping her feminine charm would keep him distracted she asked, " What was your s class trial like? How did you win?" She questioned.

Laxus stopped eating. He willed himself to look away form Yunna for just a moment. He could explain his S-class exams, becuase it didnt directly involve the current ones. " Um... Well I had to defeat GIldarts, and he almost crushed me to pieces. Then I had to.... um... then I had to defeat makarov. It wasn't easy at all. I barely emerged form that place alive, let alone with my dignity intact. " He had realized he almost gave her some information about soemthing else... he shouldnt have done that . He realized if this went on, he would eventually end up giving her a step- by- step guide to winning. Laxus Dreyar would not be played like that.

((I don't think he could have defeated Gildarts. Or probably even Makarov. I mean, Natsu beat him and Natsu only made Gildarts take a single step back. O_O))

(( LOL> I'm pretty sure he didnt beat him as well. Laxus was strong enough to go against both of them, but he never defeated them. They let him pass through becuase of his impressive strength and power. Thats how he won. and becuase of several other rigorus courses))

Yunna was getting a bit indiscrete with her attempts now. This might be due to her already getting the basis of what she needed, but every bit of information would help. Her eyes grew wide with surprise as she slowly inched toward him with wonder in his eyes. She took it upon herself to grab one of his arms and pull it towards herself, causing her bust to rub up against him. "Oh wow. It must have been hard to get past them. I bet the journey was hard on you too," she said, squeezing herself against him.

Laxus gave a small smile, but tried to push Yunna off him slightly. She was only out to get more information that he couldnt tell her. He backed up, but not before getting a good look at her "bust", (( LOL pervert)). He turned and pushed the door open, frantically trying to get away from the Yunna and her "bust.

Yunna didn't chase him. She was the one supposed to be chased not the one doing the chasing. She looked downed and picked chest up, laughing, she said, "Still got it!" Before walking out herself to prepare for the s class exams.
