Happy Spring!

It's BOM nomination time! I am writing this from Maine on vacation with 27 teenagers! Because of this, I am once again doing a free for all, but with a small rule. It can only be a book with less than 300 pages. This means a book that is not long, it can be a novella. I don't care what type of book, as long as you read the rules.

I am allowing two nominations this time around. Please just review the rules about nominations.

Let's see what you got! You have until April 26, then voting will be from April 26th until May 2nd. Let's see what you can come up with!

Thank you! :)

Here is a review of the rules:

*Nomination of Series books:
Please see which books we have started to read and You may nominate the next book in the series.
If we haven't read the book please nominate the FIRST in the Series, no sense in starting at number 5 when we haven't been introduced to the characters before.

*Please ensure that the book is on the Goodreads Database.
When the poll is made the books have to be on the database to be included in the poll.

*Please nominate books that have preferably been out for 6 months or more.
This ensures availability for all. Preferably books available at libraries . We don't want to be a financial burden after all!
But if you want to buy the books that is fine too.

*We no DO NOT allow Self Nominations From Authors or their Representatives
We have an area Devoted to Author Reads as well as Self Promotion. For more information Please Contact a Moderator.

Lindsey (ucdlindsey) OK I'm going to try a nomination, I'm hoping it's allowed but will let the mods decide. It is a novella, and is related to the Kate Daniels series, but is also considered the first in a separate series, so hoping it can meet the first in series criteria that way. Magic Stars (Kate Daniels, #8.5, Grey Wolf, #1) by Ilona Andrews

Lindsey i'm going to have to say no to your book. as we have not been introduced to the characters yet and it is set halfway through the series. it was quite a tough decision to make too as i really like the Kate Daniels Series! which actually got me thinking. why don't you nominate the first Kate Daniels book? it hasn't been read by the group yet ( I checked), It has 260 Pages ( i checked that too). and its and awesome book..... didn't need to check that one as i already knew. :o) so it's up to you if you want to add it.. just add another message letting us know, and we will count it as your nomination.

Shocked the group hasn't read Kate Daniels at all, so why not, I'll nominate Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews

when you mentioned the kate daniels series it got me thinking and i checked the groups bookshelf(all of the books that we have read as a group are on there) and i was quite shocked we have not read it.
i was even more shocked to see it fits the nomination rules of this month.

Magic Bites by Kate Daniels meets the requirements! All good!
Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris is good!
Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson is good!
Zombie's Bite by Karen Chance is good, mainly because I cannot see how many pages, but being a novella, it should be good!
