Hello lovelies! I am so sorry for the lack of me posting for this particular challenge, but now that my wedding is done (HOLY CRAP I AM A MARRIED WOMAN!) I am finally able to get back in the world of reading! And I am SO excited to get back!

I hope all of you are doing decently on your goals! Let me know how you are all doing!

Shellee | 2 comments Congrats Stephanie! So glad everything went well!

I am failing on the challenge but that will all change soon! Since I try to read these books the entire month of October I should have no problem meeting my goal as long as I throw one in a month as well. :o)

1. THANK YOU! As exciting as it was, I'm glad it is over and Joe and I can just start our life together :)
2. I love reading mysteries and thrillers throughout October, but I have noticed that most of the time it's more on the paranormal/horror end. So, I have vowed to read more non paranormal mysteries throughout the entire year.
3. I currently have a running list that I literally started to type out yesterday. Maybe I will be a post to highlight some in case any of you are in need of some recs or just don't know what to start. Would you like to see that list?

Shellee | 2 comments Your welcome! Yes I have been there so I know what it's like. Glad you can get back to some normalcy! :) I know I for one missed you on your blog as well as here on Goodreads!

I agree not the paranormal/horror as well. I tend to lean that way too in October.

I have been working on a list as well in my shelves here on Goodreads. Now I am trying to figure out where to start. That would be wonderful if you post a highlight on some! I try to wait until a series is finished if they are not a standalone. I read so much that I have found it hard to remember previous books if there is too much time in between. So if I loved the first or first couple of books but have to wait too long I have a hard time remembering and not enjoying the next or last so much.

One I can recommend around Halloween that comes to mind is Hallowed Eve by Suza Kates. I remember being pleasantly surprised and it is a quick read.
