Most people are aware that British lit-fic powerhouse Kingsley Amis wrote 'Colonel Sun' a James Bond homage (under a pseudonym, Robert Markham). Material from this tale went into 'Goldeneye', (groan)

And I knew he also wrote the much-admired The Anti-Death League but didn't know that this too, is espionage. Comedy-espionage in fact!

Its going on my TBR list asap. Who'll join me?

Agreed, I'm a big fan of Buck Henry.

But supposedly the humor here is more 'Monty Python'...

p.s. Kingsley Amis is one of those odd coincidences where a famous author sires another famous author. Martin Amis is Kingsley's offspring.

By the way what's the informal abbreviation for Kingsley? King?
