In my home in case of power outages, a week's supply of bottled water and food is always in stock. What I find to be essential to have in my car is a pair of hiking boots in case of road closures. Not going to make it very far in sandals or dress shoes! I also have a heavy winter coat, even in the summer it can have many uses. Great podcast!

Hiking boots are a great addition to your vehicle in the event you are stranded and find yourself having to walk! The coat also has many uses, as you said. Great suggestions!
I just went through my car and updated my bags for the spring/summer season. No more heavy winter clothes - but I always keep a bottle of water in the car along with first-aid, rain gear, some tools, and a change of clothes. They have come in handy!

This is a great starting point for beginners, and some helpful tips for seasoned pros. In addition, I identify the first, most effective prepper, who has been prepping long before prepping was even popular. It is well worth taking notes from her, as she is always prepared. You'll have to listen to find out more!
