Each month I'll have a poetry contest with a certain theme. All will vote on the winner at the end of the month. I'm going to do one for April, even though there isn't much time for everyone to write. I can't wait to read your poetry!

April's theme: Broken
Your poem can be anything related to something broken, you don't even have to use the word, just the concept.

Shards flying
People crying
Something broken
Panicked words spoken

Shattered glass
Slowly time will pass
A pained yelp
Rushing to help

Blood dripping
The world tipping
Dizziness taking control
The floor begins to roll

Can't see
Everything's blurry
Looking around
Can't hear a sound

Stumbling around
Falling to the ground
Heads turning
Stomach churning

Vision blackening
Dull hearing
Too quick to comprehend
The glass they begin to mend
