Hi, this week i read Nothing But The Truth by George Kershaw. It's about a teenage girl called Hu who moved from China to Bangkok. She came from a poor family. In Bangkok, she went to an international school. Her father wanted her to become a doctor because he thinks she's good enough to become one, however, her grades for medical studies at school were very low.
Her teacher suggested that she took private lessons with that teacher himself but Hu had to pay for the extra tuition fee. Since Hu came from a poor family and didn't have enough money, she sold her ring from her aunt's grandmother to pay for the tuition fees.
Soon, the school counsellor found out that Mr Stanyer, the teacher, was playing with Hu's marks and making them low on purpose. It was actually because Mr Stanyer needed the money. Hu actually scored high marks and could become a good doctor.
As a result, Mr Stanyer was fired from the school and Hu finally became a successful doctor. She also enjoyed singing.

Hi, this week I got the book The Garden Party and Other Stories by Katherine Mansfield, I chose a short story called The Doll's House.Mrs Hay bought the children a very big dollhouse when she is staying with the Burnell family. The children really like the dollhouse. The next morning, the children told their friends about the dollhouse and how amazing is was. Each one of the children, Isabel Kelvey, Kezia Burnell, Lil Kelvey and Else Kelvey, they like different things inside the dollhouse. What's weird is that Kezia's favorite is a lamp in the middle of the table in the dollhouse.Kezia's mom didn't allow Kezia to show the Kelveys the dollhouse. But one day Kezia really wanted to show the Kelveys the dollhouse, so she showed them, her mother was furious when she found out. Aunt Beryl speaks bitterly to Kezia, and Aunt Beryl closed the dollhouse with a loud bang. A few moments after the Kelveys left, Lil and Else came back to comfort Kezia. Kezia felt a lot better.

These are 15 sentences for the summary of the book "Riddle of the Sands".Carruthers, a minor official in the Foreign Office, is contacted by an acquaintance, Davies, asking him to join in a yachting holiday in the Baltic Sea. Carruthers agrees, as his other plans for a holiday have fallen through. He arrives to find that Davies has a small sailing boat, not the comfortable crewed yacht that he expected. However Carruthers agrees to go on the trip and joins Davies in Flensburg on the Baltic, whence they head for the Frisian Islands, off the coast of Germany. Therefore, Carruthers has to learn quickly how to sail the small boat. Then, Davies gradually reveals that he suspects that the Germans are undertaking something sinister in the German Frisian islands. This is based on his belief that he was nearly wrecked by a German yacht luring him into a shoal in rough weather during a previous trip. Davies is suspicious about what would motivate the Germans to try to kill him. Taking advantage of a thick fog, Davies navigates them covertly through the complicated sandbanks in a small boat to investigate the site. Carruthers and Davies spend some time exploring the shallow tidal waters of the Frisian Islands, moving closer to the mysterious site where there is a rumoured secret treasure recovery project in progress on the island of Memmert. Carruthers investigates the island and he overhears Von Brunning and Dollmann discussing something more than treasure hunting. Then, Carruthers finally puts the riddle together. The Germans are linking the canals and the railways, dredging passages through the shifting sands and hiding a fleet of tugs and barges. Soon, the Germans were caught. In the end, the problem was solved.
Hi guys ...The book I got this time is 'Far From The Madding Crowd'
Smart and educated, Miss Everdene enchants one man after the other, sheep farmer, well-to-do bachelor, and a broken-hearted young sergeant. She denies her feelings, rejects the safety a marriage would bring and maintains independence in order to keep managing the farm she has saved from ruin. But she is never alone. Hardy lets us know the politics of being a woman in 1870 England through his characters' actions, opinions and privileges. Life, it seems, is never easy, but once in a while it is fun.

There was a man named Giles Hampton who was spending his holiday in Wales. He stayed in his friend's house which was located near the Snowdon mountains. One day, Giles went to the other side of the mountain to make an all-day excursion to observe rocks. When he finished doing all he wanted, he decided to head back. It was starting to rain, as he climbed higher, a thick, damp mist came down and covered everything. When he was halfway past his journey, Giles was lost and confused, he did not know where to go. Suddenly, he saw an old man. He told him he was lost so, the man gave Giles a map. He followed the map and realized it was a dead end, he threw a rock and it fell off a cliff but soon he figured out how to get back. Giles told the story to his friend and he said that there was a boy who died a long time ago with the same story, he followed the map an old man gave him.
