Eta, Estern [District 2, Female]

Reaction:
Compared to some of the tributes, including her district partner, Eta actually liked her outfit. It looked well, it matched her near porcelain white skin and hair, and made her green eyes pop out from the visor. She studied herself as she was in the changing room. Unlike her district partner- who looked much more masculine- she looked almost weak and fragile.
She would show them.
She nodded to her district partner as she left for the prep hall. She had no idea what he was wearing, that's how little she glanced upon him.
The prep hall was as magnificent as some of the victors at home described it. It gave her a warm fuzzy feeling that she never felt at home. The wait was long, but the show began as soon as the doors opened. As there chariot ride rode out second, Eta acted as sweet as she could. A simple wave of her hand was enough to send some crying out. She knew it was for the sponsors, but being very public helped some survive.
After the opening ceremony and the speech, Eta was tired. But the thrill still made her smile.
