Hooked on Books discussion

Let me just start by saying, thank you so much to Nicole, one of the other moderators of the group for recommending and helping me develop thins challenge!

This challenge can be done in groups OR can be done as a solo member. If you would like to participate, it would be helpful if you said (about) how many books you read a month to make it easier to figure out who to put on each team. The only reason I do this as opposed to having people choose to join different levels is because sometimes not enough people join to be able to divide teams this way. Anyway, to the challenge :)

When you are assigned a team (or if you choose to work solo, this will be done on your own), you will try to read a book for each category. There are four parts to the challenge. Each person is NOT required to read every book in the section. You are able to divide all of the books up in a section among all of the members. However, you can only read for one section at a time. You cannot have one member working on one section at a time. Once part one is done, you move on to two, and so on. Pretty self explanatory. Here are the parts and some book suggestions...

One other thing: if you find and read a book that has the required element on the cover AND in the title, you will be rewarded an extra point :)

Part 1- Cover Challenge <>MOTHER’S DAY EDITION

Read a book with a party on the cover or title


Read a book with tea or cup in the name or cover


Read a book with cookies on the cover or title


Read a book with a dress on the cover or title


Read a book with a shoe on the cover or title


Read a book with jewelry or makeup on the cover or title


Part 2- Cover Challenge <>SPRING EDITION

Read a book with butterflies on the cover or title


Read a book with flowers on the cover or title


Read a book with grass on the cover or title


Read a book with a kid(s) outside on the cover or title


Read a book with rain on the cover or title


Read a book with sun on the cover or title


Part 3- Cover Challenge <>SPRING COLOR EDITION

Read a book with pink on the cover or title


Read a book with peach/orange cover or title


Read a book with a yellow cover or title


Read a book with a green cover or title


Read a book with a light blue cover or title


Part 4- Spell It Challenge
For this part, you are allowed to use books that you have read throughout the challenge (if you read "Models Don't Eat Chocolate Cookies", even though it is in part one, you could use the "M" in one of the words. The books for parts 1-3 can be used in part 4 throughout the challenge.)

You can read any book, these were just suggestions for people who needed ideas :)

You can do a reread, but be sure to post a review/new review if you do so :)

Hi can I join? This sounds so fun! I at least read 4 a month. I'll let you know if it's more. I don't usually keep track of how many books I read a month.

I will allow it, but do not check off the challenge ahead of time. Once your group gets to the second part of the challenge (or third, fourth, etc.), I can count it.
