Cadence walked into the theater, holding her violin case close. She was nervous, this was her first day at Hollywood Arts. Her family having just moved back to Hollywood.

Jade stood on the stage looking around at the empty seats, she had a number of instruments behind her, she saw Cadence walk in and tilted her head.

Cadence stopped, seeing Jade on the stage "Uh...sorry for...for um being early" She stammered, forcing herself to speak like a normal person, instead of with sign or her notebook like at home.

"I don't mind kids being early," Jade said. "Let me guess, Your Vega's daughter aren't you" She said talking about Tori.

Cadence nodded "Yeah" She answered, frowning a bit. She wanted to go a bit without people knowing who her mother was.

"We went to school together" Jade said shrugging.

Cadence nodded again "You're Jade, I've seen you in Mom's yearbooks" She said.

"Huh" Jade said amused she signed Vega's yearbook, but not with a very nice word, after all she wrote what she felt. "She didn't let you see what I wrote did she?" Jade asked

"I read it, I wasn't supposed to, but I've never really listened to my mom" Cadence said with a shrug, she understood that some people had issues with each other in highschool.

"There was a reason you weren't supposed to read that" Jade said chuckling.

Cadence shrugged "I'm not supposed to do a lot of stuff, and yet I do it anyway" She said.

Jade smirked and shook her head, "wanna try singing?" She asked her only student so far.

Cadence shook her head "I'm not much of a singer, I prefer violin or guitar" She admitted.

"Vega said the same thing at her first showcase, not the guitar and violin thing but the no singing thing." Jade said with a shrug.

"Oh, I can sing all of my siblings and I can sing, I just prefer to play instruments" Cadence said.

Jade nodded, "this is singing, you want instruments you should be in Andre's class." Jade said to her. "Though you can stay in here today"

Cadence got up on the stage, figuring she could sing at right now, considering it was just her and Jade. She took a deep breath before singing

Jade listened to Cadence sing before she noticed the door open and close though the theater was so dark she couldn't see anyone.

Skye sat in the back row of the Theater and watched and listened to Cadence sing, she also saw Jade West, standing on the stage.

Cadence finished her song, and stepped down off the stage.

Skye stood and walked down the walkway to the fourth isle from the front and sat down.

Jade looked at Skye and tilted her head, the girl had a tablet in her hand.

Cadence took a seat a few seats from Skye, holding her violin case.

Charlie walked in, dropping into a seat loudly. She almost always made her presence known to the teachers and had for the last 3 years

Skye smiled at Cadence before she saw Jade's eyes on her, she shrank back into her seat shyly.

Jade watched Skye, "you next" she said gesturing for Skye to come on stage.

Skye looked down before setting her tablet down carefully, before she picked it back up, walking up to the stage, setting it on the edge setting it up for background music on a timer for it to start. She picked up the mic and winced seeing three people watching her as well as the people who were walking into the theater. Charlie nodded, this girl sounded good.

After Skye finished singing she made her way to the stairs,

Jade looked stunned that the quiet, meek little girl could sing like that, without any previous training.

Charlie waited for her chance to get up and sing.

Skye picked up her tablet and sat down back where she'd started.

Charlie stood up, taking the stage. She was a proud and confident singing, at least now she was, back in her freshman year, she hardly sang and kept to herself. Charlie started singing, her hand tapping her leg to the beat. https://youtu.be/pjcOzqxu4JQ

Jade watched and listened before nodding.

Charlie gave a slight bow at the end, before jumping off the stage and going back to her seat.
