Autumn (autumnmemory80) Once you and your Book Pal have selected and read your book, post what you thought of the book on this thread. Partners are listed in this thread below. Can't wait to hear about your book choices!

You can go to the original thread Book Pals and click on your partner to see their books and friend them.

** Just a Tip - I like to give my partner at least three books to choose from with one being my top choice. That way they have some freedom as well.

★ ★ IF you have made an attempt to contact your partner with no response, please private message me letting me know so I can work on getting you a new partner for the month. Please give it at least 7 days before posting a comment as not all of our members log in every day. THANK YOU!

Be sure to check your partner's post and see if they want you to choose from a certain shelf.

I enjoyed this book and gave it 4 stars. It was interesting to read about the family dynamics in trying to figure out why/how Lydia died. It was fascinating to see how the dreams of the parents for their children cause a lot of turmoil.

Kirsten (kmcripn) Ginger from the lower right hand corner of the country was my partner this month and as I am from the upper left hand corner, we obviously had time zone issues. But I want to thank her for being a great book pal.

Just finished the book we read and really enjoyed it.

Just finished the book Maya and i read and i really enjoyed it. Probably a 3 star for me. The author wrote The Good Girl from the vantage point of 3 main characters and switched back and forth between them to tell the story. At first, i thought that it would be confusing, but the author did a wonderful job keeping the chapters short and the flow of the story going. Intertwined it beautifully and i could really feel the emotions Mary kubica was trying to invoke.

Vicki Willis I finished Snowblindwith Wolfrott and ended up giving it 3 stars. It started out SO strong. I was like, wow! But then it literally became ridiculous and the ending was not that good. But it started out so tense and scary and excellent that it all averaged out to 3.

Dana (dkmckelvey) | 623 comments For May, Patricia and I decided to read Those Girls by Chevy Stevens

I had been wanting to read it for a while and I'm glad we did, but I just didn't enjoy it as much as I was hoping for. I am not sure if it is the author's writing or her rape storylines, but I just haven't liked her books. Hopefully Patricia enjoyed it more than I did :)

I agree! It began on a well-written, compelling note... Once *spoiler*, it was like he had 5 minutes to wrap everything up. The pacing, the plot, the language, the writing, it all dwindled into something very out of character and jarring compared to the first part. Bad editing too; sentence fragments and change of narration.

Lynne Dominique and I read The One You Love, this started out well but just got worse as the story unfolded. I rated this one star and even that felt like a lot. Not everyone enjoys the same book and this one did not work for me.
