The Polar Express discussion

this book follows a young boy through his journey to the north pole. While at the north pole he i given a bell from Santa Claus. Every year ater that he heard the bell ring, however, when he became an adult and stopped believing in santa claus, the bell stopped to ring. I like this book because if you are teaching in a classroom in which it is appropriate to teach about christmas this book is good to use to make kids excited for the holiday. This book can also be used as a christmas book alongside books that touch on other winter holidays in order to make it appropriate. I liked this book a lot when i was younger because of the pictures. The illustrations are beautiful and so detailed you feel like you are right there in the north pole yourself.
