Good luck on your future endeavors, John. I look forward to seeing where you are at in five years.
Thanks, Paul! It WILL come out, that's a promise. And in the meantime, may our paths continue to be connected.
John, you were one of the first people to connect with me and help me out when I was feeling the pressures of this whole thing. I won't forget that. Good luck to you and also can't wait to get my hands on Blood Dawn!
Good luck John. And give us a heads up when it makes it to bookstores so I don't have to randomly stoke them looking for it. lol
Thanks Kelsey! Anyone wants to follow my progress, make sure you're on my newsletter: http://www.epicfantasywriter.com/john...

I'm putting this here because this is a rather big announcement to this community. Joe, Cara, Christine, or Bekki, you can move this elsewhere later, but at your request I have put this together to make sure everyone knows why I have stepped down as a moderator here.
If you haven't heard already, then I will repeat the big news: Blood Dawn is leaving Inkshares, and as a result of this I am also going to be pulling some of my energy away from Inkshares-specific work. Although I will still be here in this group, I have decided to help me focus my time more it's appropriate to step down from a few things specific to Inkshares. Moderation and direction here is one of them.
I have no fear that in stepping down this community will continue to flourish: after all it's our spirit of collaboration that has been the true leader of this community, and that spirit does not depend on any one person. I want to say to all of you here who have come together: you are all leaders. But you all you know that anyway.
I will be less active on the Inkshares platform so that I can get my bearings back and return to writing and more conservative efforts at engaging readers and author collaborations, however for many of you who are connected with me, our collaborations will continue outside the sphere of Inkshares. While this forum is focused specifically on marketing for the crowdfunding environment, I have enjoyed our other collaborations that have come together in the Slack environment, authors coming together to share tips and ideas and pool our knowledge resources together. This has been rejuvenating and intend to keep that up.
Okay, speech over. This message will self-destruct whenever the Mod team decides it should. ;)
