May is mostly known known for celebrating that special person we call mother but as it turns out there`s also some other wacky celebrations taking place. Who knew! It makes the perfect opportunity for another months challenge.

May 8: Mothers Day: Read a book your mother recommends or would recommend to you or read a book that features a mother.
May 10: Clean up your Room Day: Read a book you own that you haven`t read.
May 11: Twilight Zone Day: Read a Paranormal Romance or Urban Fiction book.
May 17: Pack Rat Day: Read a book from your To Read list.
May 22: Buy a Musical Instrument Day: Read a book that has an instrument on the cover or a book that involves music.
May 29: End of MIdlle Ages Day: Read a book set in the past.

Challenge Rules:

→ When you sign up for the challenge, please post some kind of a place saver so that I can link you up under the participants. You will be updating this first post as you finish your books.

→ For each book you read, please update your original post and somehow indicate which book you read, and the date you finished reading it.

→ You may only use each book once in this challenge, but feel free to use the same titles in other challenges!

→ If you decide that you've bitten off more than you can chew, feel free to let me know you'd like to downgrade, or even back out of the challenge. However, please do not delete your posts. It will mess up the links to other participants' postings if you do.

→ Books must be started on or after May 1st, 2016. Books started before this date will not be counted for this challenge.

You would think that in fantasy, if not urban fantasy, it would be fairly easy to find a book with a bard with a harp or something on the cover. Hmmm....

when you say "features a mother" does that mean the mother has to be the main character? Or can they be an important supporting character?
