RMFAO (Reading My Frigging A** Off) discussion

I think this month I'll go heavy on the classics as I've read none so far this year! I plan to read:

Bulldog Drummond by Sapper
Service with a Smile by P.G. Wodehouse
Ashenden by W. Somerset Maugham
And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
The Man in the High Castle by Philip K. Dick

And if there's time:

The Time Machine by H.G. Wells
Journey to the Centre of the Earth by Jules Verne

I have to complete Richard Hanny's series (that Dagny kindly introduces me to,) but I'm not sure if I"ll have enough time to complete the series. Still, I'll try and read at least 1 or 2 in the series from where I left it last year:

1. Mr. Standfast
2. The Three Hostages

Thanks! I'm slowly making my way through the Blandings novels so this one is next up! I've missed reading Wodehouse this year.

I'm starting this challenge with a Steampunk novel by a friend, The Cogsmith's Daughter.

1. 84, Charing Cross Road (Classic)

Such a simple and sweet book. Just didn't want it to end. I was enjoying London so much!!

I was thinking of reading The Princess Bride and The Last Unicorn

This month I have a lot of books to read that fall in these categories:
For Steampunk:

The Steampunk Trilogy
Perdido Street Station
The Scar

And, if I have time, for classics:

The Invisible Man

#1 The Cogsmith's Daughter - 5/5 - Steampunk

#2 for the month Johnny Got His Gun by Trumbo.
As is always the case with war genre reads I'm very angry and sad after this.

#1 The Steampunk Trilogy
Interesting collection, with three stories set in the 19th century. Many references to literature, authors and historical characters.

#2 Perdido Street Station
This book was incredible! After finishing the first, I will read the second of the series, The Scar.

Can I join this genre challenge from this month?
