City of Bones by Cassandra ClareDate Finished: 29th April 2016
Rating: 3.5 Star's
I believe this book was very good. I had been given it and the rest of the set for my birthday, after i began watching the 'Shadowhunter' TV Series which was based on them. Like most, the books were far better than the TV Series and actually helped to explain some of the overlooked themes in the series. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to reading the rest in the series; as i find the adventures of Clary very interesting and look forward to watching her character progress and grow as she has done in this novel.
An excellent piece of writing, my compliments to Cassandra Clare for her unique and twisted vision.
Deceiving the Duke of Kerrington by Ginny HartmanDate Finished: 30th April 2016
Rating: 4 Star's
I quite enjoyed this novel. Albeit, it was a little unbelievable that Hope would have looked like her mistress or even have had he same speech due to the difference in class; the storyline was very good and quite enjoyable. I would recommend this to people, although they would have to be a little open-minded.
