Awesome! I'm glad we'll be reading this book. I love Damon on the CW TV show, I'm wondering how similar his character will be in the book.

Has anyone else see the TV show? If so, what characters do you like the best?

Okay...I don't know if anyone else has started reading The Awakening...but I've got to say I was a little blown away when I found out that Elena has blonde hair LOL! Considering Nina Dobrev has been the only "Elena" I've known that threw me for a loop! Even Bonnie is wildly different lookings haha. Now I really want to see what Stefan and Damon will look like.

Just got my copy in the mail. Shipping delay. Going to start reading now!

3/4 of the way through. I'm really surprised by this book. It gives a weird first impression but my brain loves this yummy candy!

I know it's crazy isn't it?! It's still so good though.

It is the best candy, isn't it?! I loved the whole series. I'm so glad you're enjoying it. I think I might just read it again for this book club so it's really fresh in my brain. It'll be a good break from "If I Stay". I do like the book but it's soooo upsetting! Sometimes I just want to read lighter stuff, you know?

Remmis - it definitely is mind candy! I finished with the Awakening and I've moved on to The Struggle. I'm really enjoying this series.

BabyButtons - yeah, I know what you mean about taking a break from certain emotionally hardbooks. I hope that you find tThe Vampire Dairies just as good the second time,

Anyone else finish the book? I went on to read the second one, too! THey're such fast reads and I admit I'm hooked. I don't want to put spoilers in case nobody else finished. Anyone else done?

I'm done haha, but I was done a couple years ago so I guess I'm ahead of the game ;) They are good aren't they? I bet you'll like the whole series Remmis! I had the biggest crush on Stefan the whole way through haha.
