I don't know where to start with this. I want to talk about how much I love this book but I know once I start, I'm not going to start and I'm going to end up telling you spoilers. I think I'll start with the cliché moments this book holds. Every one of you have probably read a book containing a love triangle and I'm sure quite a few of you like them but for me, they're annoying and I've seen them far too many times to really appreciate them. And for this, I'm going to have to say the love triangle between Mare, Cal, and Kilorn. Although this wasn't an easily spotted one and it didn't last long, it was still there and it still irked me. That was the only major issue I had with this book and since it was barely there, it doesn't effect my rating for this book. I still love this book nonetheless.

Agreed. I wasn't crazy about the love triangle. I was heavily rooting for Maven. Though we know how that turned out. I have to give it Ms. Aveyard. I did not see that twist at the end coming. At all.
