I can't believe I never read this growing up! I was too busy reading The Witches over and over lol.
I really liked this story. It was quirky and sweet and funny. The last few pages of my edition of this book had random facts about Roald Dahl. I never knew that BFG footprints lead you to his gravesite in Buckinghamshire!
Can't wait to see the movie now :)

I love Roald Dahl! This book was fantastic. I can see some of my kids really enjoying it when they get old enough to read but also getting really confused by how the BFG talks. It would make a great read aloud though and I think I may do just that with my kids soon. I think the movie is going to be great fun and I can't wait.
