Events happen here. Such as spouse matching

Dove walked in, a little early, alone and really nervous. Well, she wasn't completely alone. There were officers that were technically there with her but they stayed off to the side out of the way. She wondered who her match would be and what they would be like. Hopefully it was at least someone nice.

((Let's see.... there's a dinner, then the matches are announced))

Dove sat alone, officers in view from almost every angle. She didn't eat much. Just enough so she wasn't going into this on an empty stomach. Though she had to admit, the chocolate was good.

Dove wasn't the first, but she was near the beginning. She knew this because it was alphabetical order by girl's last name. There were a couple A's before her but soon her name was called.

"Dove Violet Angel,"

Dove stood up and stood in front of the screen like the couple of girls before her, waiting to see her match. Except, the screen stayed black. Which could only mean one thing.

“Your Match is here this evening,” the hostess says, smiling.
"James Everett Chancellor III"

Dove offered a kind smile. of course she was matched with him. the society's way of keeping her in check. they were each handed a silver box containing microcards with information about the other person. her's would just have the normal stuff. his on the other hand he would have everything on her, including the project dove file

Dove sat back down, staring at the box. she wondered what sort of things she'd find out

when the banquet ended, Dove stood up, ready to be escorted back to her home. She would probably sleep, but other things were an option

Dove glanced over at James and smiled kindly, then she disappeared from view along with the officers escorting her
