Did you know there's also a band named The Devil Wears Prada? Well, I didn't until now. (Shame on me, I haven't been following music trends till early 00's - got stuck there). It's curious they derived their name right from the book, but their message totally differs from the book, being anti-materialistic and such, but after they realized that it was kind of too late to go into changing their name.
Anyway, I've seen only the movie. I was fearful I might dislike it, because I am not really into fashion, shopping and brand names, but it wasn't that bad, I liked it. Actually, I don't know if I would like it same without charms of Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Simon Baker, but as they are in there, it is futile to discuss that possibility :) I hope the book will be entertaining too.
Well, have you seen the movie and/or read the book? Did you like both of them, or you like one more? Share your thoughts with us!

Blueberry (blueberry1) I saw the movie first and then read the book. I enjoyed them both. Can't remember if one was better than the other. Having seen the movie first, I of course pictured everyone in the book as the actors portraying them in the movie.

Book Vamp Jade Williams (honey01) | 24 comments I absolutely loved the movie, and now own it, but I think it's definitely the actors that made the movie carry more weight for me. Very much like Fifty Shades of Grey, the actors just didn't "do it" for me. Still need to read the book, have also been worried if my views will be coloured by the movie or if the book will then colour my views on the movie lol.
