Alkia walked through the gardens, happy to have some time off after all the adventures he'd been having recently battle shade and making deals across the worlds. In his wandering he came across the a patch of eggplants and could help but pausing for a moment to admire them. The gods used these sacred plants to help create each and every race in the Cosmos with the exception of the Eos. And as the young child looked closely at each egg, he could see the developing form of new races waiting to be born and placed onto their own world. It was a wonder to behold and even a young half dragon couldn't help but stare in awe at the beauty that was before him.

Astra had sort of stumbled into the garden of creation. To say the least, she hadn't intended on ending up there. She had been star walking and kind of got thrown throw into a portal, ending up in the garden of creation. She stood up brushing off her clothes, making sure any residue star dust didn't end up on any of the plants and instead made it into a vial of star dust she collected. The vial was almost full, at which point she would pour it into a dying star.

Alkia looked up to see a fellow dragon tumble out of the portal into the the garden and couldn't help but giggle a little. Still known that him laughing would be far from the best way to introduce himself to a she drake. So quickly composed himself and said, "Hello their I don't believe I've seen you around here. My name's Alkia and this is the realm of Soulion."

"Ambassadress Astra. I can completely understand why you may not have seen me around. I tend to be nomadic" Astra said curtsying as it was proper to.

"Well considering my position as the son of the great dragon King Draco Hyrax. It's sort of my jobs to know everyone," Alkia smiled as he returned her cutesy with a bow.

"I don't come to Soulion often. In fact I don't know why i'm here," Astra said, honestly

"Maybe latter we could talk about getting you a ring, because one has no control of one's destination when using a portal alone. As for well I don't spend that much time at home ether. In fact I just got back from Auir and came here to rest for a bit before they send me on my next mission," Alkia replied.

Astra nodded. "I don;t usually use portals, but I got kind of sucked into one," She said. Star walking had it's advantages.

"Yeah those things are unpredictable as heck. Kinda makes you wonder how the Eos have based their entire lifestyle on hoping from portal to portal as nomads," Alkia said sitting himself down in grass.

"Being a nomad is hard enough as is," Astra said. She didn't mind being nomadic though.

"Yeah, personally while I do love traveling around and seeing all the worlds. I also like that I have a home to come back to. No offense," Alkia added quickly not wanting to offend the nomadic dragon.

"None taken." Astra said. She had her reasons for being nomadic. "Do you ever wonder what it would be like to walk among the stars?"

"I've heard about that from some of the gods, but I've never done it personally," He answered.

"It is truly an amazing thing, but it also comes with a responsibility" Astra said

"Sounds cool, what responsibility does it require," he continued with his eyes growing wide in his sockets at the prospects of flying amounts to the stars,

"You must collect all star dust residue that you collect on your person and then return it to a dying star," Astra said

"How do you do that without getting burnt to crisp, or before the star collapses into a black hole and sucks you," Alkia asked as he like the idea of star travel and wanted to try it out, but wasn't sure about all the details.

"Being dragon prevents you from being burnt and you have to get the timing right," Astra said

"Well I'm only half dragon, and I have feathered wings, but I guess I can give it a go, how do you start," he said as he unfurled his wings and changed into his dragon form.

Astra smiled and turned into her dragon form. "Follow me. No matter what, don't turn back"

"I will if you can keep up with me," Alkia said with his trade mark smirk.

Astra smirked and took off. She flew fast, headed up

"Well I guess guess the game is on then," he chuckled as he took off after her and soon enough he was right on the black dragons tail.

Astra was going fast, because you had to, to reach the right speed to be able to make it safely

Alkia whoop and hollered like a kids on roller coaster as he tailed the black she drake. This was the fastest that he'd ever gone in his life, and he was loving every minute of it.

Astra let a smile form on her face. It seemed he was enjoying himself. They were almost there

Alkia smiled the two broke through the sound barrier with a deafening bang, this was it they were almost there and young half dragons excitement couldn't be contained.

Astra had gotten used to the boom of breaking the sound barrier, and the emptiness felt when first entering space. It was beautiful to see the stars

Alkia tailed Astra until the broke through the atmosphere and found himself to be soundly weightless. While he tried to reorient himself, he couldn't help but stare in wonder at the countless stars shining before him. Truly it was a wonder to behold, but he knew that Astra wouldn't wait for him, so he once he was he reoriented, he was off again like a rocket with starburst trailing in his wake.

Astra was gliding to a stop. once she'd stopped, she was literally walking, like she was on some invisible floor.

After pausing for a moment to see what she was doing,, Alkia touched down on the invisible floor and continued to follow the black dragon through the emptiness of space.

Astra relaxed, smiling. It was always nice to be out here and relax. She could pretty much go anywhere

"Wow you were right this is amazing, I'm never travel by ring again," Alkia said he walked along side Astra.

Astra laughed softly. "Just be careful while you're out here,"

"Okay I will, you sound just like my mother before I go out on missions," Alkia chuckled.

Astra laughed softly. "Forgive me. I'm not trying to,"

"No it's alright, if it weren't for her and the fact that like all dragons I'm immortal with few exceptions. I'd probably would've gotten myself killed by now if it weren't for her," Alkia said.

Astra smiled "You are lucky to have a caring family and friends"

"Yes though I worry that peace and comfort that I enjoy here now is not going to last much longer, as you and I both know that darkness is brewing again in the Cosmos and my father saids he can smell old enemies in the air," Alkia replied.

"I do know," Astra said nodding. She, herself had been fighting this darkness whenever she came across it. It wasn't the kind of darkness she liked

"Yeah, and the thing is that The Dragon children don't have the numbers needed to combat this even with the new alliance we just made with Auir. We've been recur ting heavily for orphans and other unwanted children from around the cosmos, but as of now of the now, the order is only a thosand strong including trainees, and at this rate we're going to be running out of dragons willing to take the kids in, " Alkia said with a sigh.

"I may be able to take on one or two," Astra said

"Really that's great, what age would you prefer, because we've got a few ranging from infants looking to be adopted to young trained waiting just waiting to explore the world's," Alkia said, glad that she was willing to help despite the fact that she seemed to be a bit of a loner.

"The age doesn't matter to me," Astra said. She had places she could go in the event the child or children need to be raised before being trained.

((You know it just occurred to me that in both of our roleplay's we've somehow ended up matching orphaned children to parents. Lol, at this rate every character in the roleplay is going to be a parent :D ))

"Well in that case, if you want after we're finished walking through the stars, I can take you to see the youngster and see who pulls and your heartstrings, " Alkia said with with. Glad that at least two more dragon child now had a potential partner and parent.

((Lol, yep.))

"I would like to do that," Astra said smiling. She was honored to be able to provide a home of sorts to children, especially since she could give them the kindness,love and proper home she never had.

"I'm glad, so do you want to show me anything more out here, or are you just bursting to met those little rascals," Alkia asked with a mischievous grin.

Astra laughed softly then sighed. Out here, her safe place, But those children needed a safe, loving place too. "I would like to meet them," She said

"Okay then let's go," Alkia said as he took off a flew back towards Soulion and lead her towards dragon roost.
