The Expanded Universe discussion

May the 4th be with you :) My workplace is hosting an event featuring the X-wing miniatures game and we get to wear Star Wars gear. Anyone else doing anything fun?

Every year I host a party and have my friends over to celebrate. We dress up and have a barbecue if the weather is nice. Due to work schedules, we're having the party this weekend. I'll probably end up watching one of the movies tonight too. :D

I watched TFA in math class and we've been watching the entire original trilogy in film and society! Also I just happened to get my Poe dress and Finn jacket from Her Universe yesterday, so I wore that with some Xwing rings I have.

Tiana: That sounds like a lot of fun! I wish I could come. I don't think I've ever had a proper SW party. I'll bump that to the top of the priority list.

Fox: You are so lucky! My husband is a teacher and they don't allow films to be shown in class at his school. It's ridiculous. I recently bought some X-wing earrings at Hot Topic - they came as a set with TIE Fighters. I'm thinking of getting a second piercing so my X-wings can chase my TIE Fighters... it's a good time to be a nerd chick...

I cannot imagine what a Poe dress would look like. Can you elucidate me?
