A dark haired girl's finger lingers upon the spine of the aging leather book currently residing on the third shelf of the ancient bookstore.
She wears a loose dark polyester gray v-neck long sleeve top, with a collar that hangs low enough that it doesn't require to be buttoned for it to appear appropriate, and has paired it with double fleece lined leggings that fight the rainy winds dwelling outside. Outside the rain which is falling from above, is whisked this way and that like a boat in the midst of a raging storm at sea.

Eve strutted into the bookstore, cursing under her breath. She hated rain - it ruined her immaculately styled hair and her shoes (five inch louboutins) were already beginning to have the tell-tale marks of wet soles on them. She adjusted her burberry jacket and pulled out her red lipstick from her pocket, a hundred (literally) years of practice meaning that she didn't need a mirror to apply it flawlessly. She gazed around for the first time, now that she knew she looked perfect again she was able to take in her surroundings. She nearly groaned - a bookstore. Great. She was pretty sure she hadn't entered one for about a decade, and she really wasn't interested in reading, but she wasn't about to go back into the rain so she began walking around. Perhaps they had free Wi-Fi or something. Her heels clicked obnoxiously on the wooden floor, each step a harsh interruption in the quiet, cosy atmosphere of the book shop.
Bella looked over her shoulder, a smile appeared upon her delicate yet chapted lips, 'Eve," She exclaimed with delight. "Out in the rain-that's not like you," She chuckled with slight amusement. It wasn't in Eve's nature to be caught up in a boring old book story which housed probably he most cliche books Bella had ever allowed her eyes to gaze upon.
((what exactly is their relationship at this point?))Eve turned and spotted the petite brunette, and she gave her a genuine smile. "Hey, Bella," she said, walking over to her. She eyed the books on the shelf with disgust. "Don't tell me - you're actually here on your own accord, right?" she asked with slight amusement.
"You know me, a love struck baby girl who needs to get her head out of these decrept books, eh?" She asked with a slight chuckle of amusement.
"Jacob asked me to meet him here, I'll be hanging with him hopefully in an hour or so once he arrives," She said allowing her gaze to travel towards the ground as her cheeks flashed a little rosy red.

((does Bella know about vampires etc at this point?))Eve scoffed, though she somehow made even that sound elegant. "Of course you're meeting Jacob." She said dryly. Though she didn't hate she shape-shifters, she didn't exactly like them either - plus it hurt her head to be around them because they smelled so bad. "What are you going to do with him?" she asked with genuine curiosity. Eve wasn't sure whether they were dating or not, and perhaps their plans would give away whether it was a date.
"Hang out with my good friend Kate and his new be-um I mean Alex," She chuckled nervously. She looked confused, 'Why the face Eve?" Bella asked curious
"He's a dog - in both senses of the word." Eve said cryptically, casually leaning against the bookshelf. She knew that Jacob was harbouring secret affections for Bella, though she still didn't know whether Bella returned those feelings. "So, what are you reading?" She asked, abruptly changing the topic.
Bella raises a curious eyebrow at the reference of her friend to a four legged animal. "A dog?" She asks, curiosity dripping from her tone. She shrugs it off and replies, 'Something about a damsel in distress who happens to be bi," Bella gives the book a questioning look before she tosses it behind her to plug her head phones into her new ipod.
"Oh, you know," Eve said loftily. "All men are dogs. And that sounds really dumb," she said, referring to Bella's book. "And that's coming from the person who, on occasion, watches 'Keeping up with the Kardashians'."
Bella's eyes widened, "You're joking, right? She let out a scoff, "They are ridiculous, a waste of time,"
"Duh," Eve twirled a strand of her luscious hair around her finger. "That's kind of the point." She glanced down at her wet shoes and sighed. "I'm so annoyed about this weather." She said. "Rain is the worst." Well, technically, sun was worse, but she didn't feel inclined to say that.
"Weather-smeather," Bella scoffed. "You'll are so caught up in what you despise you seem to have forgotten what you love," Ok. Obviously reading these romance stories were doing her vocabulary no thanks.
"Woah, there, Dickens," Eve said, smiling slightly to herself. Though she hadn't read a book in a couple of years, that was because she believed modern literature to be 'below' her, and she had already read nearly all of the classics. Plus, she had known several world-class authors personally, including F. Scott Fitzgerald, which she was personally very proud of.
(hahaha do you think your vampire would get along with Eve - cuz she's a pretty, ahem, strong personality lol)
