Summary: This book is written about the time of World War I. It talks about how Adolf Hitler is taking artifacts and other prized art pieces and keeping some of them while destroying others that he found "unfit". In the book it tells of a group of a combination of 6 American and Britain directors called the Monuments Men make an extreme effort to find and protect the stolen artifacts and art pieces and to protect the others that have not been stolen yet from being taken.
Personal reaction: I personally found the book very interesting and to have some funny parts in it. I find the amount of effort and how much these six men cared about the art from around the world and not just from the area or country that they were from to be really crazy. The fact that these men were willing to put their lives on the line and still not get that much credit in schools or other sets of history just seems insane from my point of view.

Summary: This book was about six men back in World War 1. In this time Hitler was taking art and burning it if he didn’t see it fit. These six men were charged with the task of finding stolen art and saving it before it was stolen in the first place.
Person Reaction: I liked this book because it’s nice to hear from the unseen hero that save art witch now is worth like millions of dollars and maybe more. I think war books are fun to read just like Unbroken because they talk about hero’s that we sometimes forget about or don’t hear about so I like this book It is defiantly worth your time to read.
