Sci-Fi Romance discussion

Welcome to the new mod team, we hope to be able to make this group interesting and fun for all you fans of sci-fi romance.
But we'd appreciate a few suggestions about what you folks want out of this group.

Thanks for the opportunity to provide some input and good luck to the new moderators! I love to participate in general reader discussions if they stay on a positive note. I also think it would be a good idea if posts stay reader-centric rather than author-centric (fan clubs are for facebook or specific author groups). Also, the "what are you reading now" thread has to stay! It is such a good place to get leads on good books. Finally, threads and posts should be focused on sci-fi romance and not broadened to include space opera, military sci-fi or general sci-fi. Just my thoughts. Thanks!

Noted, Celestine. This is why we have a range of author mods and non-author mods. Most authors are also prolific readers (we get the love of books somewhere) but we'll be doing our best not to turn this into an author promotion group.

The discussions about different aspects of SFR, whether that's cyborgs or aliens or distant worlds, are fun to discuss, and the recs are handy. I also like the What Are You Reading? thread. Also the TV/movies stuff.
