Hi! I'm Adele, and I'm from British Columbia, Canada. -- I like reading, hence why I'm on this site in the first place, aha. Aside from reading I like to watch shows off of Netflix, and visit libraries. Sometimes I bake things, and sometimes I get to eat them. I also enjoy drinking Hot Cocoa and Tea!!

I'm Jennifer, currently from Virginia, but only recently arrived by way of Ottawa, Canada. I like reading more than any other way of relaxing, which is probably why I have such a hard time exercising, because no matter where I put the e-reader, it just isn't easy to read and jog/bike/walk. NA and YA are probably my top genres, although I also love a good fantasy novel. Terry Pratchett and Edith Wharton are my favourite authors, and I have a teensy addiction to pretzels. And maple syrup.

Hey! I'm Mary! and I'm super pumped for this group ha! Im from Manitoba, Canada! I like to read a lot, I used to watch a lot of t.v. shows but I'm taking a break from most of them. I like to knit, and I'm a domestic engineer (fancy talk for stay-at-home-mom!) These are some of my fave genres too, but I also like urban fantasy (especially Charles De Lint) and will read nearly anything (except maybe true crime!) Can't wait to find out what the book for June will be!

Oh, and I'm on a book buying ban from May 1st through the end of August but I'll make an exception for this ;)

I'm issa, I'm 25 and i speak in nerd sometimes, I'm also from the far, far away Winterfell. Chile actually, where our winters last like 6 monts with, like, temperatures in between "oh, it's really nice outside" and "it's hell". I'm an IT networking nerd so books are usually read in between my commute home-class and back, I'm currently revisiting the Harry Potter Saga but reading it from the end to the start (and is really weird because I'm not seeing any flaw on that ????????), anyway; i do watch series, I'm into action series, and I'm a superheroes fan. I also like dinosaurs. All of the dinosaurs.

First of all I'd like to say that I'll probably send loads of friend requests to the members of this group because I started using goodreads just a few months ago so don't get scared ahah Okay so, I'm Elisabetta, 19, from Italy. I like all the book genres of this world but the ones that intrigue me the most and for which I've got a passion are dystopian, sci-fi, fantasy, and of course YA and such, even though I feel like often all those genres end up intertwining. Something else I'm extremely passioned about is Asia, specifically the oriental area, on which I'm basing my university studies: I study Chinese and Japanese languages and cultures. This sometimes affects my readings too: one of my favourite authors is hands down Murakami Haruki. Uhmm what else should I say? Let's have fun reading together!

I love books for young readers–MG, YA, NA, all of it!–but read other genres as well. Anything can attract me, really, if it's well-written and primarily character-driven. I'm also 1,000x more likely to read something if it has LGBTQ characters. Outside of reading, I enjoy writing, drawing, and jamming on the ukulele when my roommates aren't home. :)

Fantasy of any sort is my favourite genre, though I dabble in the classics and some Shakespeare + Edgar Allan Poe. I'm a sucker for anything violin, anime/cosplay, or fandoms. I'm also a big polyglot and am currently trying to work my way through German, Portuguese, Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, Swedish, French, ASL, Russian, Korean, and Hungarian. And none of it is working out (except for French and German whoops).

Hey, I'm Amelia and I'm nineteen.
I'm happy to read most genres, although fantasy is a favourite. I read a lot of YA. My hair is currently sort of green at the ends because it was blue and has faded strangely (which you can't see because I can't be bothered to update my profile picture). I run a Booklr. I currently have no money because I bought over thirty books last month and that is not finically suitable for a girl surviving on student-support payments.
I'm currently in my first year at University for a Creative Writing degree, so occasionally I have to leave my house and that means I usually end up tucked away in the Uni library or hidden in the corner of a coffee shop until I can get back home to my own rapidly-growing library.

Thanks, still I want to try, I recently read A Court of Thorns and Roses and I really liked it, but... I don't know, maybe if I read more of it, I hope to learn liking it.
That was one of goals in joining this group. I hope to reach it :)
