Summary: When Auburn Reed is in need for a job, she runs into a building that has these "confessions" she starts to read them. As she was reading someone opened the door and put "help needed!!" She thought it was a little weird, not knowing what the business was she ignored it. The door opened again saying that it was "urgent" he was in "dire need". She decided to go for it, she needs the job anyway. When she walks in the room is filled with paintings with the confessions attached to it. Owen Gentry the owner, said that he needs someone to tend the cash register during his painting auction. She takes him up on this job, and through spending time with him she grows an attraction that she doesn't want to have. He ends up getting arrested, and doesn't tell her that's why he had to leave. Trey, a cop and a friend of Auburn's, is the one who arrested Owen. Trey spills Owens secret to Auburn creating some distance and stress fro when he gets back. Owen feels the same for Auburn the she does for him. The go through ups and downs, passes through some obstacles on the way. In the end they have their happily ever after they both deserve.
Personal Reaction: This is personal one of my favorite books, it is so intense and stressful. Every time they reach an obstacle I had to take a break form the book so I didn't have a mental breakdown. I know this is a book that I will keep reading forever, I totally 100% recommend this book to everyone who likes romance,
