Fantastic! This gives me enough time to buy a new dress--the red carpet event showed me the value of a good frock--get my hair done, have a manicure and pedicure, lose five pounds... practice my curtsying... I know we all want to look our best for our audio-royalty! ;)George Guidall is certainly in a category worthy of the royal treatment... can't wait.

Guidall is always to be depended upon for good narration. You can hear every word he says and perfect speed. He give me time to think as I listen. High praise in my view.
Great news !
That'll be quite exciting . :)
Thank you .

Thank you .
Guidall's narration of Lillian Jackson Braun's Cat Who mystery books are what really hooked me on audiobooks. But Les Miserables, that was a masterpiece! And yes I have chosen new audiobooks based solely on his narration.

Oh, my, now I've drooled all over my keyboard... George Guidall is one of the BEST! Now I have to go plan out my wardrobe so I will look my best when he gets here... <><

Excellent! Another narrator I feel like I ought to be on a first-name basis with, after over sixty hours of Les Mis - looking forward to his visit!
I love George Guidall! My favorites have to be The Gunslinger, Wolves of the Calla (ESPECIALLY his Pere Callahan!) etc in the Dark Tower series. Not too many narrators could fill the enormous shoes of Frank Muller, but he does a wonderful job!
I like his voice and I loved him reading The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker but in general he doesn't narrate the types of books I listen to, so I have limited experience of him as a narrator.
George Guidall is one of the original generation of narrators that I listened to back in the 1980's before there were so many people in the business. I always enjoyed his narrations and it's great that he is till performing and winning awards.
Hi Everyone, this is Aurelia for AudioFile to say that our excitement about hosting George Guidall on June 1 and 2 is ramping up!
Di you know that George has narrated over 1,200 audiobooks? That's right, over 1,200! No wonder he's our favorite living legend.
To Susan, who says that George simply is Walt Longmire, we're right with you. :) Here's the review and clip of his Earphone Award-winning performance of Dry Bones: http://www.audiofilemagazine.com/revi....
And for something altogether different and marvelous, another Earphones for The Leonard Bernstein Letters. It's mesmerizing. Have a listen: http://www.audiofilemagazine.com/revi....
Start getting those questions and comments ready for June 1 and 2!
