Heyoh :) top of the morning to you
This book was clean (except for kissing), so to me it wasn't bad or embarrassing to read. It is just when someone makes fun of something you read it is embarrassing. Suddenly you feel stupid for reading a book because everybody else thinks it is so dumb.
I think I may delete my comment because I kind of wanted to get my feelings out, and now I'm fine.

I love blue, too!
I love blue, too!
Hehe I'm gonna add to it blue & fire engine red
There is nothing wrong with reading what you want--yes, if it is wrong, that is a different matter altogether. Believe me, I read SO many romance books. My family doesn't even question it anymore because they know that that is what I love to read. Sure, I may get teased a few times.
BE YOU!!!!
I don't have any problem with reading romance books as long as there is nothing bad in them. More often then not they are really, really cheesy though. xD But everyone needs a cheesy romance book every once-in-awhile, right? I love old romance books like Felicity mentioned - Jane Austen is amazing, of course. ;D
I'm probably the only one here who's not into romance books. XD It has to be a particular way in order for me to enjoy the romance book -- which, sadly, excludes most secular and Christian romances. :PI do thoroughly enjoy Fantasy and Science-Fiction though! What are all of your favorite genres? :-)
I don't read a book if I know that a book does have romance.

Thanks guys for your support. :D My friends are all really great people, they just don't understand 'cause they don't have similar reading tastes. :)I love fantasy, Christian historical fiction, Christian chick-lit, and contemporary.
My favorite color is also blue :) I love romance novels as well! But, I also read tons of fantasy-fiction, adventure, and sci-fi! Nice to meet you all :)
We have a poll where you can vote for your favorite color. Please vote!
Oops... I'm in another group where we have a poll for that. Sorry! The group is: Polls for Christian Girls. You can join that, Celestial! Again, I'm so sorry that I got mixed up. ;)

I'm not really a fan of fantasy. And I'm not allowed to read Harry Potter.

I've never liked Harry Potter, and I know some christians don't approve reading it. Actually I'm one of them. Fantasy is not my thing. It's too....fantasy. I prefer realistic books and autobiographies.

I have :) I thought that they were good. I read them a couple of years ago and I know I hard time keeping everything straight. There's a lot in those books!
I'm also getting into Game of Thrones. I know that series may seem controversial for a believer to get into, but I have good faith to be able to tell the difference between reality and fantasy, and I really like the characters and the action. I am aware that the show has a lot of nudity, and course sexual content, language, and violence in it, but I am going to give it a try anyway to compare it to the books. I'm almost done with the first book and I can't wait to watch the first season. My favorite character is Dany because I feel like I can really relate to her.
I've never read LOTR...I think maybe in another year I'll read them. They were written for adults and I think I'll just be able to understand everything and the messages in the story better when I'm older. I have read "The Hobbit" though. I think it's really under-appreciated, it's so cute and funny! :3
