The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair discussion

There is a hilarious spoof written specially for all of you who gave one star to Harry Quebert.

Called 'The Awful Truth about the Herbert Quarry Affair' it crams everything that was bad about the original into 200 side-splitting pages, and makes it even worse! Woeful dialogue, gruesome metaphors, cliches, offensive stereotypes, absurd plot twists and the least credible ending in the history of publishing.

Hi Marco - I'm so sorry, I got sidetracked big time this year and have still to finish your book. So far I'm hugely entertained and promise to finish it - maybe in the depths of the madness that is Christmas.

Thanks for letting me know. I've had so much lovely feedback from people who've found the book makes them laugh that I've written a 'proper' comedy with the same characters. It is just as absurd, and Marco is still trying to make a best-seller by writing the first things that come into his head. If it gets published I'll let you know.
