CYNBAXTERHi there - for Option 2, combining tasks A & B - would The City of Mirrors by Justin Cronin be okay?
The title is 4 words (Task A) however the author is 6/6 letters (Task B). That's why I am asking. Your example shows 4 words (Task A), and author is 4/4 (Task B) - so wasn't sure if I had to match

The one book option has to satisfy both A and B. The City of Mirrors is 4 words and fulfills A. Justin Cronin has 6/6 and fulfills B.
It works, enjoy.

From the description- Spaces determine words.
Amy & Roger's Epic Detour = 5

Just checking to see in this book would fulfill option 2The Temptation of the Night Jasmine by Lauren Willig

The Temptation of the Night Jasmine (6 words) by Lauren Willig (6/6). That works.
You Know Me WellJust double checking this works as the one book option. Two authors but one is Nina LaCour (4/6 letters)

That works.
i'm wondering about hyphenated words. i'm interested in reading Selfish, Shallow, and Self-Absorbed: Sixteen Writers on The Decision Not To Have Kids . does "self-absorbed" count as one word, since there are no spaces?thanks for your help! :)
kiki wrote: "i'm wondering about hyphenated words. i'm interested in reading Selfish, Shallow, and Self-Absorbed: Sixteen Writers on The Decision Not To Have Kids . does "self-absorbed" count as..."Yep, you're right. Self-absorbed is counted as one word so the title has 4 words.

For book B, can I read Nine Essential Things I've Learned About Life? Harold Kushner's first name has 6 letters in it...

No, that doesn't work "Read a book by an author whose Goodreads name is composed of name parts (first, middle, other, last) with exactly 4 OR 6 letters in every part. All name parts must be considered. "
Harold S. Kushner- "S." and Kushner are not name parts with 4 or 6 letters. All parts of the name must have 4 or 6 letters.

I'm pretty sure this qualifies for part B, but I want to double check. Black Butler, Volume 01 by Yana Toboso There's a translator listed as well, but the actual authors name is Yana (4) Toboso (6)
Thanks

Or
Option 2: Read ONE book that fulfills both Book A and Book B -The King of Lies (4 words) by John Hart (4/4)
