1/2 of the last category: I've read The Sisters Brothers by Patrick deWitt and am currently reading Not Without My Sister: The True Story of Three Girls Violated and Betrayed by Those They Trusted by Kristina Jones, Celeste Jones, and Juliana Buhring

I'm from Texas, and Kinky Friedman is a cultural icon, but I've never read any of his books. I should fix that!
