In this book, John Green uses Chicago style footnotes to incorporate the way Colin Singleton's mind works. They're facts that aren't really necessary to the plot, but they're interesting. And I like how they, plus the narrative, give the story a Train of Thought feeling. I've never seen someone use Chicago style footnotes in anything other than a college paper or published academic articles, and it was interesting to see them used this way.
Anyone else like how John Green used the footnotes? Or not?
