Welll I'm known by many names....which all feel a bit like a personality trait to be honest.....learning about me is a hard thing to accomplish....so I think a whole thread is needed just for this

message 2: by [deleted user] (last edited Jul 03, 2016 05:19PM) (new)

Let's start off simple ....nicknames I'm called

K
Precious (mum usually calls me precious chicky)
Chicky / Chicky Pea (mainly just mum)
Potassium or according to my sister now Tassy
Cheerio
Twiggy (my grandfather)
WQ
Queen
Katey / Katey Pea
Random
Time travelling Koala
WackyQ (my lil grasshopper)
Fuzzier bb (by my one and only fuzzily bb)
Special K (by my fuzzily bb again hehe she can't resist me I'm too sweet she's on portion control hehe aren't u??) ;)
Ducky (by only Lucy)
Potato Sister (Evie)
CO (Bouncy only)

I think that covers the majority of them....sometimes when my brain is overwhelmed with soo many emotions I make my nicknames into a personality bc when I'm called one there's a certain feeling I usually have when its used whether it be nervous, shy, crazy, vulnerable, sensitive, wacky, random etc

Yay! Jigsaw puzzles! I love them too :)
Ooh cool you can play the flute (I can't but I think it's cool!)

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha didn't expect anything else from you K :) you have met my expectations

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

Really fuzzily that's awesome I always enjoy them when I get them out I once did this epic one 5000 piece one and it was of all these English type letterboxes it was sooo cool another one I did was this paint like picture of this little girl walking down a garden path holding a basket with a puppy it was soo adorable I had trouble packing away

And yes I play the flute :) and love it

Marietta wrote: "What's an electric triangle!? Lol sounds easy ;)

Hehehe glad didn't disappoint lols

Oh and an electric triangle is this triangle made out of metal that u tap with this little metal stick but apparently it had an electrical cord so the noise is more electrifying BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Aww those sound like a lot of fun! I mostly have 1000 pcs puzzles...but I always have trouble finding space to make them! That's why I can't get any bigger ones or I would certainly not have enough space to make them lol

Mhmm what an...interesting instrument haha!

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah it's hard to find the space to do them but my mum got me this epic puzzle mat it's like mad of Um what's it called weird felt stuff (almost like those old animal farm things where the animals would stick onto the material) that probs downs make sense anywho it's like a velvet and the puzzle pieces stick to it....and it has markings on it on puzzle sizes from 500 piece to the larger ones so u no exactly where ur border should be running....it then comes with this thick cardboard tube and the mat roles around the tube keeping ur puzzle all in place u put 2 little caps on either end so it doesn't slide off and u put ur floating puzzle pieces inside the tube it's the best thing ever!!! Although Probs doesn't make sense

Yes indeed sounds complicated I'll stick to my flute less chance of getting electrocuted HAHA

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

OMG WOW!!!! I so want one of those!!! Yeah I am always having to carefully push stuff away from my crowded table cuz I run out of space for my puzzle hehe :D but that sounds seriously awesome!!

Haha yeah :)

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Hahaha I think mum got it online it's just called a jigsaw mat :) I think they a wee bit expensive but if u use it all the time it's worth it and that way u can do it literally anywhere the floor the table etc....and then just roll it up when u finished for the day :)

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

That rolling up part is really the bestest of all!!

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

It really is one of the smartest things created!!! In my world anyways hahaha

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

Hahaha yeah :)

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

Hehehehe :)

What else what else....

When I was little I could barely speak one word that made sense and mum soon learnt that I had a rare disability known as dyspraxia....it's a hard thing to explain but basically depending on the severity it's mainly the following

- Speech impediment - ur brain literally thinks what u r saying is correct for eg in my head i could be saying I won't to go to the shop but it would come out go da dop - so speech therapy was critical to retrain the brain how to speak. Even now I can tell my Brian works differently....I can't just say words without thinking about them the sentence literally has to process through my head first.....so obviously I'm guessing u can see that if ur really tired and stressed words will revert back to the way it was originally....you will stutter and stumble over words or muddle them around....so that was a joy going to school for me...speech therapy was a necessity up until the age of 12 so guess u can probs guess was bullied a lot and was told wouldn't amount to anything by the school teachers in yr1 changed schools in yr 2 continued being bullied by the end of yr 6 mum took me out of school system and homeschooled)

-also includes learning difficulties - as ur brain thinks differently ur working out skills are varied and it's all about repetition and finding correct learning pattern which being in the school system didn't allow...being homeschooled helped mum find my learning pattern starting back at yr3-4 work and working through that with repetition and patience ended up excelling and doing yr11-12maths by the time was in Yr9

-fine motor skills or coordination skills - as ur brain waves work differently once again u have difficulty connecting ur body parts with ur brain so basic stuff like learning how to write or basic coordination skills were very lacking...lets just say had 2 left hands and feet....for eg something as simple as riding a bike not so simple bc u had to not only pedal, steer but brake or whatever this generally resulted in me crashing into a LOT of trees fences or anything that would possibly be in the road at the the time....majority of time wouldn't be able to coordinate the stopping of the bike so falling off was always a good option ....add in the fact I didn't no which hand to write with so then became ambidextrous as no left or right side was more dominant....so now I'm just generally confuzzled and don't no which way to do things lol....and end up just looking awkward and lame ....but the positive I can generally switch from left to right without any drama for eg soccer kick ball with both feet, tennis play with both hands etc......so all in all just generally uncoordinated....and not in the simple everyday use of word....these things u literally have to think hard about to connect everything together....

And I think that covers that....that's all for now from the Wack queen

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Wow that's really interesting. It sounds like it was a struggle *hugs* but all that information about it was interesting. And it is cool that you are sort of ambidextrous.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh really? :) I've never written it out like that before so wasn't sure how it would be taken :) and not many people even no what it is so yeah........and yeah was def a struggle that kinda even an understatement but I got there :) *returns hug*....but all good and yeah being partly ambidextrous is cool but it does confuse me a lot bc I'm not sure how I want to do things...lols

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters adopted into my family although mums currently unaware of that fact lols

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

I've found recent joy in writing and am enjoying the journey it is taking me on...

Umm pets:

Currently have 2 dogs
Prada (name in Hindu means light or glow - which was chosen bc she's white and a princess lol) - teacup Maltese x Yorkie 6months old and weight 2.25kgs
Poppet (name means pretty doll - which she is of course with a little black face with tanned colour eyebrows and a speckled body) - mini foxi x chihuahua 8yrs old and as sassy as anything she is attitudinal huffing and grumbling at me all the time when I tell her to stop barking at the walls...yep it's like I'm a real mum lol....about 4kgs

Previous pets
2 hermit crabs -
Oi - friendly little thing liked to sit on the top of fake fish plants lol - we buried him in our back yard in a shoe box
Hey <----- hey was evil he ate Oi :( literally pulled Oi out of his shell and ate him....we yelled hey when we saw the evilness and the irony was not lost on us
Umm 6 gold fish - never had much luck with those things they were all suicidal....the first three didn't last very long they just up and died
Then the other three
Nugget - was particularly mine named after a gold nugget - umm he liked sinking weird fish and laying on the floor of the fish tank ....one day he just decided not to reuse his gills and died...
Nibbles - well he liked coming to the top when we put our hand in to feed and liked to nibble our fingers....he was a depressed fishy though....never socialised - I think he had worse fish brain then 3 seconds he didn't hang out with the others he died of loneliness
Jumpy - yes he was given this name for a reason he like jumping out the fish tank and onto the floor it was like his daily exercise ....he was squished by my sister on Mother's Day morning....all we heard was a blood curdling scream and wasn't sure what was happening then we went into the kitchen and yeah trod on fish *cringes at the memory*
So u can see not much luck with fishes lol

And that's all the pets I've ever owned ohh wait sorry and the blue tongue lizard he lived in our backyard and used to come out and sun bake at the bottom of our back step lol

bc it resembles the closest thing to the real thing lols

Fears/absolute worst fear imagined: hmmm hard one soo many

But the main ones

Watching my loved ones die
Getting lost within the darkness of myself
Losing a loved one
Nightmares
Drowning
Terrified of water (pools, beaches, lakes/rivers etc - rivers and beaches are the worst)
8 legged creatures :P
Cockroaches
Snakes
Crowds of people
Fear of losing my books:P

I think that covers my worst fears
And then I have a LOT of small ones that all seem silly but that all comes under my anxiety so I ain't listing them....
