I've posted the first half for free
Many of my contributors went on to try a memoir after completing a living obit
I put it on GR but I never can figure out GRSo if you can figure how to send me an email and I'll send it to you
FYI today I can't even get messaging on GRto work
One man told me he wrote his obit from 2 POVs: success and failure. Used the same facts. That sounds like an interesting writing prompt. I have read lots of memoirs but none that start with obits.I have blogged a series on how people choose to memorialize others, some are very creative or outside the box, would like to continue it after I have more readers. I think most people don't want to consider death from the first person perspective. But I'd like to try again, find it fascinating. http://www.perfectmemoirs.com/point-o...
Have you read Being Mortal ?it might change your thoughts about first person and our conversations about death ... This new awareness and conversation house m a permeated across the generations day. I report a great deal about it in my obituary book

In the same vein, but less macabre, have any of you tried a life-review obituary before or after attempting a memoir?
