I'm new to the group so I don't know if this book's been done yet, but Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky is a really good read that I just recently finished and highly recommend.
Some interesting suggestions so far, folks!

I searched the discussion posts and yours is the only one to mention it, Stephen!

LOL It's not a bad reason to suggest it.

I've had Cosmic Banditos by A.C. Weisbecker sitting in my kindle for some time now; described as ' a perfect blend of comedy, action and quantum physics'.
I nominate Neal Stephenson's latest work entitled "Seveneves" which happens to be a finalist for this year's Hugo and Nebula. :-)
My bad. Neal Stephenson's "Seveneves" is nominated for this year's Hugo and Locus, NOT Nebula. The latter have been ignoring Stephenson for years. :-)

Intriguing storyline - who'd expect a bandit to actually read the physics papers he'd stolen when he was just looking for money! Sounds fun though! :)

This reminds me that I actually need to start reading Stephenson's books at some point! I've had a copy Snow Crash on my shelf at home for a few years but still haven't got around to reading it! :O

I'll be setting up the poll tomorrow so if anyone hasn't posted their suggestion yet, do so as soon as you can!

LOL You are kind of right though! :O

I've set up the poll to start at midnight (Greenwich Mean Time) tonight. As before, people can write in an alternative to the listed options of which we have six this time round. I've set the poll so that it will last until midnight GMT on 1st June.
As some will already have noticed, the two books that received the highest votes were Seveneves and Children of Time. The discussion topics for both books can be found here and here.
