Nell Grey (nellgrey) | 1682 comments Does anyone have a pagan(ish) book blog? I wondered if those who do and those seeking reviews for their books might find a contact thread useful. Bloggers could add a link to their blog and authors could take a peek and decide before requesting an honest review and sending their book. It is quite a niche market after all.

Being a recluse and a social media phobe (not the best for an indie author with a new book just out...) I have to declare an interest, but will just wait to see what happens with this thread before getting a wet toe... :)

Ella my blog is not specifically a book blog, but I have done book reviews in the past. My main hub of activity is http://practical-magick.tumblr.com. I'm currently in the process of making a website with more traditional blog so that it can be found on search engines. My blog's been around 5 years. I have about a 1000 followers, many of whom are active readers and interact frequently.

Just had a wee look at your site there.
You may have read them already but these are worth a look and may help put the christianpagan current into a historical context:
The Stripping of the Altars: Traditional Religion in England, 1400-1580
Religion and the Decline of Magic
Also, the recent group read here shows similar overlap between the xtian mainstream and faerie lore:
The Visions of Isobel Gowdie: Magic, Witchcraft and Dark Shamanism in Seventeenth-Century Scotland
These are only some of the texts covering 15/16/17th cent, there are plenty more covering other periods.
This crossover/amalgam has a much older pedigree than the more modern wicca.

My blog is both a book blog and a pagan topics blog. I write about pagan topics weekly (http://samanthacfischer.com/pagan-facts) and I write book reviews for other indie authors, and sometimes other books I read by more traditionally published authors(http://samanthacfischer.com/reviews). if anyone is interested in having me review their book they can check out my review submissions page (http://samanthacfischer.com/submissio...)

Toviel (exagge) | 65 comments I have a review blog here: opinionsofsaturn.tumblr.com

It's not specifically pagan/witchy, but you can filter reviews by using tumblr's tagging system. I tag all my reviews with their respective genres.

Robert White | 9 comments I like the idea of review sites for occult books. Some new ones are coming out that have piqued my interest.
