I liked this book and found myself really immersed in the story. There were so many things I wanted to know and most of my theories were wrong. I thought the author did a good job of introducing jinn mythology and of keeping the story moving. What did you think? Did you like Syd? What did you think about Demitri? Did you feel any sympathy for Silvia?
I generally liked this book. It was fast paced and constantly kept me guessing. I, also, liked the slight tie-in with Arabian mythology; I Googled Al-Jamila and like Dimitri did not find anything. I would have liked to know more about Syd. I felt like the reader didn't get to know her that well.
