She found her passion when she was four, after she found a dead sparrow by the road. She took the bird house and found various ways to torment it. When it finally died of its wounds, she fell into a deep depression. She really didn't understand what she did, and thought she was just having fun. Her mother soon found out about her "habit" and threw her out onto the streets because she believed that Rivor was evil. And boy, was her mom right. Rivor lived on the streets until she was thirteen, when she was found by a sex trafficking ring. She was sold and lived in basic slavery for three years, before she cut open each one of her guards and slit their throats. She went back to the sex trade, willingly this time. Only if you were to pick her up, you were good as dead. She normally demanded that you drive her home, where she would proceed to drug you and throw you into her basement. She'll proceed to torture you in various terrible ways. But johns weren't her only target. If you offended her in the past, even as much as looking at her funny, she would find you.

message 4: by Astra (new)

Astra (sayomina) Following the revamp due to Crisis on Infinite Earths, Jason Todd is recast as a young street orphan who first encounters Batman while attempting to steal the tires off the Dark Knight's Batmobile in Crime Alley. The son of Willis Todd and Catherine Todd, Jason lives on the East end of Gotham in the Park Row district called Crime Alley. Catherine was a drug addict who died of an overdose some time before he began living on the street. Willis was working as hired muscle for Two-Face and had disappeared suspiciously following a botched assignment. Bruce Wayne sees to it that Todd is placed in a school for troubled youths which turns out to be Ma Gunn's School for Crime. Jason earns the Robin mantle a short while later by helping Batman apprehend the gang of thieves. However, Todd does not wear the Robin costume (an improved version of the classic) until six months of training.[24] Batman notes that while Todd doesn't possess Dick Grayson's natural athleticism & acrobatic skills, he can become a productive crimefighter by channeling his rage. He also believes that if he doesn't help the boy, Todd will eventually become part of the "criminal element".

In the revamp period, Todd is portrayed as the "rebel" Robin. He smokes, swears, and fights authority. He is prone to defying Batman's orders, sometimes to success (bringing in the Scarecrow singlehandedly) and sometimes failure (botching a raid on a drug lab by jumping the gun too soon). Todd also aided Batman while Gotham City was temporarily overrun by Deacon Blackfire as shown in Batman: The Cult.

The most controversial moment prior to his death occurred in Batman #424 when serial rapist Felipe Garzonas escapes prosecution due to his father's diplomatic immunity. One of his victims, a girl named Gloria, hangs herself amid the threat of a third rape from Felipe. Todd discovers her hanging and makes a beeline for Felipe, ahead of Batman, who arrived just in time to see Felipe take a 22 story fall to his death, with Todd as Robin at the edge of the balcony. Todd maintains "I guess I spooked him. He slipped." This highlights an earlier exchange in Batman #422 where he uses excessive force on a pimp about to slash one of his working girls and Todd asks Batman if it "would've been such a big loss if I had (killed him)?". Whether Todd pushed the rapist from the roof is never known.

In Batman #425, the Dynamic Duo is challenged by Felipe's father when he kidnaps Commissioner Gordon in retaliation for his son's death. Batman is instructed to meet the kidnappers at a city junkyard and to bring Robin. Batman does not wish to involve Todd and keeps this information from him. However, Robin senses something is wrong and hides in the Batmobile's trunk as Batman heads to the junkyard. There, Batman is unable to reach Gordon, surrounded by Garzonas' men, and Todd intervenes, saving Batman from a close call. Machine gunfire breaks out and Gordon is wounded in the arm. All of the henchmen die, and Garzonas is finally crushed by a pile of junk cars. Batman speaks to Todd of consequences to actions while the boy stares at the dead and the wounded Gordon for a moment before walking off.

Death[edit]
Main article: Batman: A Death in the Family
In 1988's "A Death in the Family" storyline, Jason Todd discovers that Catherine Todd was not his biological mother, and runs away to find the woman who gave birth to him. After following a number of leads, including an Israeli Mossad agent and Shiva Woo-San, Todd finally tracks his mother Sheila to Ethiopia, where she works as an aid worker. While Todd is overjoyed to be reunited with his real mother, he soon discovers that she is being blackmailed by the Joker using her to provide him with medical supplies. Sheila herself has been embezzling from the aid agency and as part of the cover-up, she hands her own son, having arrived as Robin, over to Joker. Joker beats the boy brutally with a crowbar, and then leaves him and Sheila in the warehouse with a time bomb. Sheila and Jason try desperately to get out of the warehouse but are still inside as the bomb goes off. Batman arrives too late to save them, and finds Jason's lifeless body in the rubble. Sheila lives just long enough to tell Batman that Jason died trying to protect her. The bodies are taken back to Gotham City for burial. Todd's death haunts Batman, and he considers it his greatest failure. He keeps the second Robin's uniform on display in the Batcave as a reminder. The murder of Todd, along with the shooting (and paralysis) of Barbara Gordon in Batman: The Killing Joke, intensifies Batman's obsession with Joker.

Return from the Grave[edit]

Interior art of Batman #617 (2003). The apparent return of Jason Todd. Art by Jim Lee.
Years later, while trying to discover the identity of a mysterious figure plotting against him, Batman discovers that Tim Drake (as Robin) has been kidnapped. When he confronts the kidnapper, he discovers, much to his surprise, that the kidnapper is apparently an adult Todd, standing at his own desecrated grave site. Batman subdues this mystery "Jason" and discovers that it is only Clayface impersonating Todd, concluding that "Jason's" greater physical age was to hide the flaws in Clayface's impersonation by allowing him to partially mimic Nightwing's combat skills; duplicating Drake's movements would not work as his movements were too familiar, but Batman's less regular contact with Nightwing would make him unsure. However, Todd's actual body is missing from its grave.[25]

It is later revealed that he had indeed died at the hands of the Joker. However, when Superboy-Prime alters reality from the paradise dimension in which he is trapped—his punches against the barrier keeping him from the rest of the universe causing temporal ripples—Jason Todd is restored to life, breaks out of his coffin, and is eventually hospitalized; having wandered so far from his grave before his discovery, no connection was ever drawn between the two events, with groundskeepers covering up the disturbed grave rather than report it, and Batman's security systems was only meant for someone from outside the grave. Todd never turns up on any missing persons reports—as he was never 'missing'—nor can he be identified since no prints are on file for him. After spending a year in a coma and subsequently another year as an amnesiac vagrant after escaping the hospital, he is taken by Talia al Ghul after a small-time crook recognizes him as Robin due to his combat skills on the street.

Talia took Todd in out of her love for Batman, while Ra's al Ghul was interested in the secret behind his resurrection. The League of Assassins tracked and eliminated everyone in Gotham who knew of Todd's resurrection to prevent Batman from finding out. They also interrogated Joker's henchmen who were with him during Todd's murder, in hopes to find out how the boy could have survived.[26] Talia later restored Todd's health and memory by immersing him in a Lazarus Pit in which her father was also bathing and helped him escape the House of al Ghul. It is suggested by Ra's that the power of the pit resulted in Todd's mental instability. Ra's refers to Todd as a "curse" and a "pestilence" unleashed on the planet, saying that madness may affect him in "hours, months, or decades".

Using the money from Talia and infuriated by her statement that he "remains unavenged", Todd paid a group of mercenaries to help him return to Gotham. Upon arriving, he enacts a plan to get revenge on Batman, as Todd is convinced that the Dark Knight deserves to die for failing to avenge his death.

The Lost Days[edit]
Jason Todd creates a false arms trafficking of advance military arsenal, knowing that Batman would respond. This provides Jason an opportunity to plant a bomb beneath the Batmobile while Batman is on a stakeout for the arms deal. Batman enters the car and is at Jason's mercy, detonator in hand. However, Todd realizes that if he went through with it, his former mentor would never know about his return nor the identity of his killer. Todd instead decides to kill Batman directly by traveling across the globe in search of a similar, but deadlier type of training to Bruce Wayne's own in order to prepare for that day.[1][27] For years, Todd learns various skills from various masters, assassins, mercenaries, and aviators around the globe, including guns, poisons and antitoxins, martial arts, acrobatics, and bomb-making. Upon learning that the man training him in lethal combat is also the leader of a child sex slave ring, Jason frees the latest shipment of children and takes them to a local embassy, then returns to the training compound and poisons his new mentor for his crimes. Upon being questioned by Talia al Ghul, Todd says it was not murder but rather that he "...put down a reptile."[28] Jason has since repeated the same pattern of killing his teachers when finding them guilty after he has finished with his training.

During his journey, Jason discovers his Robin replacement was Timothy "Tim" Drake, which further torments him. He also learns that the man teaching him bomb-making is involved in a Russian mafia-backed deal meant to push the resources of British law enforcement away from mob crime and onto Islamic extremist terrorism with a framed bombing plot. Todd manages to hunt down the gang and safely detonate the bombs. Ironically, the only surviving member of the gang offers Jason the possibility of a large government payday in exchange for his life, because he knows where a very wanted man is. That wanted man turns out to be the Joker.[28][29][30]

After learning of the Joker's arms deal in Los Angeles for another terrorism plot, Jason begins to stalk the villain as a masked assassin. After successfully capturing Joker (who fails to recognize him), Jason contemplates burning his killer alive after dousing with gasoline. However, Jason realizes that he does not simply want Joker to die, but desires to punish the villain with Batman. Jason spares Joker and decides to wait for the right opportunity. Jason also admits to Talia that he has already deduced that the reason she finances his training is to stall him from killing Batman, but he has no desire to kill his former mentor anymore. Talia then gives Todd the idea to be the Batman that Gotham needs. She also hires the same carpenters who built Jason's casket and had them build a replica of it (the original was destroyed when Jason emerged from it). Todd enters into a pact with Hush and the Riddler. He confirms to Hush that Riddler is correct that Bruce Wayne is Batman. As Hush, Riddler and Jason collaborate, Jason initially confronts Batman at his own gravesite. Jason then switches places with Clayface in order to observe Batman from afar. When Batman expresses no remorse for sparing Joker's life after the second Robin was killed, Todd is further angered and takes up his murderer's original mantle. After she initiated a takeover of Kord Industries for him, Talia gives Jason a flame dagger (a replica of the one Ra's al Ghul often carried) and a red helmet as gifts, and they become his signature weapon and mask.[1][31]

Red Hood[edit]
Shortly after the events of "War Games" and just before "War Crimes", Jason Todd reappears in Gotham City as the Red Hood.[32] He hijacks a shipment of Kryptonite from Black Mask, and in the midst of a battle with Batman, Nightwing and Mr. Freeze, Red Hood gives them the Kryptonite back, and tells them he has gotten what he truly wanted: a "lay of the land". Shortly afterward, Red Hood finds the Joker (driven out of Gotham by Hush) and beats him with a crowbar just as Joker had beaten Jason. Despite the violence of the beating, Jason spares Joker, intending to use him later against Batman.

message 5: by Astra (new)

Astra (sayomina) Red Hood assumes control over several gangs in Gotham City and starts a one-man war against Black Mask's criminal empire. Overall, he strives to take over Gotham's gangs, control their activities, and to kill Joker in revenge for his own death. In his new role as Gotham's most powerful crime lord, he repeatedly comes to blows with Batman and several of his allies. A Robin mask is found in the Batmobile, which never belonged to Dick or Tim, but is of the style that Todd wore as Robin, suggesting that he'd been stalking Batman.[33] After their encounter in the cemetery, Batman becomes obsessed with the possibility of resurrection from the dead, and seeks advice from allies such as Superman and Green Arrow, both of whom have died and returned to life. Around this time, Batman discovers that the empty coffin buried at Jason's gravesite is a replica of what he bought. Nevertheless, Batman keeps Jason's Robin costume in its memorial display case in the Batcave; when Alfred Pennyworth asks if he wants the costume removed, Batman sadly replies that the return of Todd "doesn't change anything at all".[34]

Acting on his obsession with Tim Drake, Todd breaks into Titans Tower to confront the third Robin, thus revealing the truth of their first encounter at the cemetery to his successor. Wearing an altered version of his own Robin costume, Todd quickly immobilizes the other Teen Titans and strikes Drake down in the Tower's Hall of Fallen Titans. Furious that no memorial statue was made for him (despite his short tenure as a Titan), he demands that Drake tell him if he is really as good as Todd has been told. Drake says "Yes" and passes out. As he leaves, he tears the 'R' emblem from Drake's chest, though he later admits that Drake has talent. Todd is also left wondering if perhaps he would have been a better Robin and better person had he have had a life like Drake's and friends like the Titans.[35]

Todd eventually kidnaps and holds Joker hostage, luring Batman to Crime Alley, the site of their first meeting. Despite their now-antagonistic relationship, Batman desperately wants to help Todd, and intends to atone for his own failures. Todd asks Batman why he has not avenged his death by killing Joker, a psychopath who has murdered countless people and crippled one of their best friends, arguing that Batman should have done it "because he took me away from you". Batman admits that he has often fantasized about taking the Joker somewhere private to torture for weeks before finally killing the maniac, but says that he refuses to go to that place. Todd then offers Batman an ultimatum: he will kill Joker unless Batman kills Todd first. Holding Joker at gunpoint, he throws a pistol to Batman and begins to count to three while standing behind Joker, leaving Batman with only a headshot if he wants to stop Todd pulling the trigger. At the last moment, Batman throws a batarang at Todd, which hits his hand and causes him to drop his gun. Joker takes advantage of the situation, detonating nearby explosives that engulf the platform and send them plunging into the bay.[1]

Nightwing[edit]
Jason Todd resurfaces following the "One Year Later" period, patrolling the streets of New York City as a murderous version of Nightwing. However, Jason shows no intention of giving up the Nightwing persona when confronted by Dick Grayson, and continues to taunt his predecessor by wearing the costume and suggesting that the two become a crime-fighting team. Not long after the two Nightwings meet up, Todd is captured and imprisoned by local mobsters Barry and Buddy Pierce. Grayson reluctantly rescues him, and the two join forces to defeat the Pierce Brothers. Shortly afterward, Todd leaves New York City and the Nightwing mantle to Grayson, along with a telegram telling Grayson he has returned to normal and still considers himself a gift from Batman.[36]

Red Hood again[edit]
Jason Todd resumes his persona as the Red Hood and appears in several issues of "Green Arrow" alongside Brick as part of a gun-running organization, which brings Batman to Star City. Jason's true motives are shown in the third part as he kidnaps Mia Dearden in an effort to dissolve her partnership with Green Arrow, feeling that they are kindred spirits, cast down by society and at odds with their mentors. The two fight while Todd discusses the insanity of heroes for placing child sidekicks in danger. Mia is deeply troubled by the discussion, but ultimately decides to remain with Green Arrow.

At the start of Countdown, Todd rescues a woman from Duela Dent — the Joker's daughter.[37] After a Monitor shoots and kills Duela, he attempts to kill Jason, but is stopped by a second Monitor. This second Monitor apologizes to Jason before they both disappear, leaving Jason alone with Duela's body. Later, at Duela's funeral, Jason hides until all of the Teen Titans have left except Donna Troy. Jason tells her what happened the night of Duela's death, and about the dueling Monitors. He knows that both he and Donna Troy have come back from the dead, even already deducing that his resurrection has something do with Alexander Luthor, Jr.'s plans during Infinite Crisis, and wonders which of them is next on the Monitor's hit list. The two are then attacked by the Forerunner, but before she can kill them, the apologetic Monitor stops her, and recruits Jason and Donna for a mission to the Palmerverse, a section of the Nanoverse discovered by Ray Palmer, in an attempt to find Palmer. During the trip, Jason takes it upon himself to name the Monitor "Bob". Jason seems to have a romantic interest in Donna, and is shown to be visibly disgruntled when her old boyfriend Kyle Rayner joins their group as they take their tour to the 52 Earths which comprise the Multiverse.

Red Robin[edit]

Jason Todd in the Red Robin costume.
A teaser image released to promote Countdown showed a figure resembling Red Robin among assembled heroes in poses symbolic of their roles in the series. After a series of contradictory statements about this figure, executive editor Dan DiDio firmly stated in the July 2007 DC Nation column that the figure is Jason Todd. The Red Robin costume, originally designed by Alex Ross for the 1996 Kingdom Come limited series and worn by the Earth-22 Dick Grayson, is seen in Countdown to Final Crisis #16 in the Earth-51 Batman's base of operations; it is revealed that Earth-51 became the peaceful world it is because the Batman of this Earth killed all the supervillains after his Jason was killed by the Joker. In issue #14, Jason dons the Red Robin suit—described by Earth-51's Batman as something he was going to give Todd's counterpart when he was older—and goes into battle alongside Earth-51 Batman. During a battle with a group of Monarch's soldiers, Earth-51 Batman is killed by the Ultraman of Earth-3, deeply affecting Jason. In his grief, Todd kills an alternate version of the Joker, also involved in Batman's killing, who then mocks his loss, vacating alongside Donna, Ray and Kyle to the planet Apokolips before Earth-51's destruction.

After the group is sent back to Earth, Todd leaves the group and returns to his crimefighting ways. When the Morticoccus virus is released from Karate Kid's body, he is forcibly brought back to the group by Kyle, much to his dismay. When the Challengers return to New Earth, Todd disposes of his Red Robin costume and abandons the rest of the group, though they go on to declare to the Monitors that they are now the monitors of the Monitors. Todd and Drake are confronted by another Red Robin in Robin #177, whose identity is initially a mystery but later turns out to be Ulysses Armstrong. Due to a combination of Red Robin's involvement and a gun-toting gang member, Todd was shot in the leg and arrested by police. Upon the resolution of the gang war in Gotham, Drake under a pseudonym visited Todd in prison to give him the Justice League access code to release himself from prison. Todd is booked under a pseudonym (John Doe), due to there being no identifiable prints on file for any member of the main bat heroes as well as Jason is still legally dead.[38] Following his escape, Todd continues on the mend, and is summoned by Tim Drake to come to the Batcave, where Batman has left a Last Will and Testament statement for him. After hearing the statement in private, Todd prepares to leave, not revealing what he was told, although he does pause before his old costume and the tattered remains of Batman's, he is clearly sad.[39]

Batman[edit]
Jason Todd reappeared in the "Battle for the Cowl" series. Dressed in a version of a Batman costume, Todd is also living/operating out of an abandoned Gotham subway system. His inner monologue reveals that he had always wanted to eventually replace Batman, and thinks it was a bad idea for Batman to become a public figure, rather than an urban legend.

After stabbing Tim Drake in the chest with a batarang, he and Dick Grayson battle down in the subway.[40] Nightwing still wants to save Todd, but Todd refuses the offer, and instead allows himself to fall off a speeding subway into the Gotham River, while stating they would see each other again soon. This allowed Grayson to officially take up the mantle of Batman.[41]

It is later revealed in Battle for the Cowl that Bruce Wayne's last words to Jason were of regret at how he had obviously overlooked the young man's deep emotional problems. He thought he could do what could never be done for him and 'make him whole'. His message goes on to plead that Todd get psychiatric help, a notion that the latter rejects. It is suggested by Dick Grayson that Todd was infuriated by Wayne's last words, a reaction that led him to becoming monstrous, murdering Batman in that same arc. Plus, it aggravated his hatred towards the Bat-family, as he repeatedly attempts to kill members of it.

Red Hood and Scarlet[edit]
In the second story arc of Batman and Robin by Grant Morrison and Philip Tan, Jason Todd retakes the Red Hood mantle after losing his bid to become the new Batman. With the goal of making the very concept of Batman obsolete, he puts a lot of effort into public relations: he drastically alters his Red Hood costume to look more like a traditional superhero outfit, recruits his own sidekick Scarlet. In their war on crime, Red Hood and Scarlet freely kill criminals, villains, and anyone who gets in their way, even the police. He leaves behind a calling card which states "let the punishment fit the crime." He describes his vendetta against Grayson as "the revenge of one crazy man in a mask on another crazy man in a mask."[42][43]

Todd has reappeared with red hair, claiming that he is a natural red-head and that Bruce Wayne had him dye his hair black in order to look like Dick Grayson (as in his pre-Crisis origins). He also claims the white streak of hair that he got is from being resurrected in the Lazarus Pit though the white streak disappears again.[44] In the issue, Todd is characterized as increasingly unstable and his idea of "finishing off" Batman and Robin now consists of stripping them down to their underwear and exposing their identities via webcam activated by a phone poll [a nod by Morrison to his own death poll]. A fight between Batman, Robin, and the Flamingo- a foreign hitman hired by a Mexican carlet after Red Hood killed their operative in Gotham- ends with Jason burying Flamingo in debris with a bulldozer. Flamingo is assumed dead, although Commissioner Gordon reports that his body can't be recovered from beneath the rubble.

message 6: by Astra (new)

Astra (sayomina) Grayson offers to rehabilitate Todd who, in a moment of clarity, tells Grayson it's too late for him, and how he tried to be what Batman wanted, "but this world...this dirty, twisted, cruel and ugly dungheap had...other plans for me." He then proceeds to fall back into his hero persona, ranting how he did what Batman never did. He "...defeated his archenemy." Todd is arrested by Gordon who informs him that the reason he has always worked with Batman is that Batman never violates the law "where it counts". As Gordon leads him away, Todd tauntingly asks Grayson why he hasn't put Wayne's corpse into a Lazarus Pit to bring him back, citing his own resurrection from its bath. Scarlet flees Gotham, her mask finally falling from her face as she exits the city limits.[45]

Jason files an appeal to be moved from Arkham Asylum where he's been held for observation for the last several months. Bruce Wayne as Batman visits him there to inform Jason he's in Arkham for his own protection. Jason points out he's passed all the psychological tests repeatedly and there is no reason to keep him in what he calls Batman's "kennel of freaks". Jason is transferred to a Gotham prison and upon his arrival, the suicide rate spikes amongst top incarcerated crime figures there. Several homicides occur due to many botched attempts on Jason's life by inmates with a grudge against Red Hood's tactics. Jason escalates things further by poisoning the cafeteria, killing 82 and sickening 100 more inmates. He is immediately transferred back to Arkham but is broken out of the paddy wagon by a group of mercenaries.[46] The mercs reveal they are under orders to bring Jason to the person that hired them and that he is in no danger. Jason breaks free and fights them off all the same as Batman and Robin arrive. Once the hired guns are subdued they reveal their employer has captured Scarlet, Jason's former sidekick. Dick, Damian, and Jason go to one of the Red Hood's weapon caches where he assembles a composite costume made from his biker and "superhero" Red Hood attire. The three intend to rescue Scarlet.[47] After Batman and Robin defeat the mercs, Red Hood rescues Scarlet and escapes using the helicopter. Batman and Robin attempt to chase him, but Red Hood tells them that he planted bombs over Gotham City months ago. Scarlet desires to stay with Red Hood as his partner. Red Hood and Scarlet head towards an unknown destination.[48]

Red Hood later returned to Gotham. After a few years he was once again arrested and this time instead of being put somewhere where he could escape or be baled out he was put here for all the people he's murdered

She lied to her mother about what she was doing in America. Ava claimed she had been hired by a high paying law firm.

As Dogs are not good at communication, it is difficult for them to convey their minds to others. Thus Dogs tend to leave others the impression of a stubborn personality

Born with a good nature, Dogs do not tend to be criminals or seek dishonest gain. They just need a quiet life and a good family, and thus forget the ugliness and evil on earth.

Dogs are always ready to help others, and do not care about their own interests, but if they find themselves betrayed by cunning people they will feel shocked and hurt.

When thrown into doubt, Dogs think the world is evil and complicated. Then they criticize sharply when giving comments on something, and infer all things are according to their pessimistic point of view.

Favorite Sayings: "We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they're inside us"
Disabilities: Psychopath
Style (Elegant, shabby etc.): Wild, clown like
Greatest flaw: Broken
Best quality: What good quality?

Description:

Personality: The Joker's main characteristic is his apparent insanity, although he is not described as having any particular psychological disorder. Like a psychopath, he lacks empathy, a conscience, and concern over right and wrong. In A Serious House on Serious Earth, the Joker is described as capable of processing outside sensory information only by adapting to it. This enables him to create a new personality every day (depending on what would benefit him) and explains why, at different times, he is a mischievous clown or a psychopathic killer. In "The Clown at Midnight" (Batman #663, 2007), the Joker enters a meditative state where he evaluates his previous selves to consciously create a new personality, effectively modifying himself for his needs.

The Killing Joke (in which the Joker is the unreliable narrator) explains the roots of his insanity as "one bad day": losing his wife and unborn child and being disfigured by chemicals, paralleling Batman's origin in the loss of his parents. He tries (and fails) to prove that anyone can become like him after one bad day by torturing Commissioner Gordon, physically and psychologically. Batman offers to rehabilitate his foe; the Joker apologetically declines, believing it too late for him to be saved. Other interpretations show that the Joker is fully aware of how his actions affect others and that his insanity as merely an act. Comics scholar Peter Coogan describes the Joker as trying to reshape reality to fit himself by imposing his face on his victims (and fish) in an attempt to make the world comprehensible by creating a twisted parody of himself. Englehart's "The Laughing Fish" demonstrates the character's illogical nature: trying to copyright fish which bear his face, and not understanding why threatening the copyright clerk cannot produce the desired result.

The Joker is alternatively depicted as sexual and asexual. In The Dark Knight Returns and Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth, the Joker is seductive toward Batman; it is uncertain if their relationship has homoerotic undertones or if the Joker is simply trying to manipulate his nemesis. Frank Miller interpreted the character as fixated on death and uninterested in sexual relationships, while Robinson believes that the Joker is capable of a romantic relationship. His relationship with Harley Quinn is abusively paradoxical; although the Joker keeps her at his side, he heedlessly harms her (for example, throwing her out a window without seeing if she survives). Harley loves him but the Joker does not reciprocate her feelings, chiding her for distracting him from other plans.

Snyder's "Death of the Family" describes the Joker as in love with Batman, although not in a traditionally romantic way. The Joker believes that Batman has not killed him because he makes Batman better, and he loves the villain for that. Batman comic book writer Peter Tomasi concurred, stating that the Joker's main goal is to make Batman the best that he can be. The Joker and Batman represent opposites: the extroverted Joker wears colorful clothing and embraces chaos, while the introverted, monochromatic Batman represents order and discipline. The Joker is often depicted as defining his existence through his conflict with Batman. In 1994's "Going Sane" the villain tries to lead a normal life after Batman's (apparent) death, reverting when Batman reappears; in "Emperor Joker", an apparently omnipotent Joker cannot destroy Batman without undoing himself. Since the Joker is simply "the Joker", he believes that Batman is "Batman" (with or without the costume) and has no interest in what is behind Batman's mask, ignoring opportunities to learn Batman's secret identity. Given the opportunity to kill Batman, the villain demurs; he believes that without their game, winning is pointless. The character has no desire for typical criminal goals like money or power; his criminality is designed only to continue his game with Batman.

The Joker does not express any fears, showing no effect when exposed to the supervillain Scarecrow's fear gas in Knightfall The villain has been temporarily rendered sane by several means, including telepathic manipulation by the Martian Manhunter and being resurrected in a life-restoring Lazarus Pit (an experience typically inducing temporary insanity in the subject). At these moments, the Joker is depicted as expressing remorse for his acts; however, during a medically induced period of partial sanity in Batman: Cacophony he tells his opponent: "I don't hate you 'cause I'm crazy. I'm crazy 'cause I hate you" and confirms that he will only stop murdering when Batman is dead.

History:

Though a number of backstories have been given, a definitive one has not yet been established for the Joker. An unreliable narrator, the character is uncertain of who he was before and how he became the Joker: "Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another ... if I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice!"[11][71] A story about the Joker's origin appeared in Detective Comics #168 (February 1951), nearly a decade after the character's debut. Here, the character is a laboratory worker who becomes the Red Hood (a masked criminal) to steal a million dollars from his employer and retire. He falls into a vat of chemical waste when his heist is thwarted by Batman, emerging with bleached white skin, red lips, green hair and a permanent grin.[91][92]

This story was the basis for the most often-cited origin tale, Moore's one-shot The Killing Joke.[59] The Joker quits his job, becoming a stand-up comedian to support his pregnant wife. Unsuccessful, he agrees to help mobsters with a robbery and dons the Red Hood. The heist goes awry; the comedian leaps into a chemical vat to escape Batman, surfacing disfigured. This, combined with the earlier accidental death of his wife and unborn child, drives the comedian insane and he becomes the Joker.[28][34] This version has been cited in many stories, including Batman: The Man Who Laughs (in which Batman deduces that the Red Hood survived his fall and became the Joker), Batman #450 (in which the Joker dons the Red Hood to aid his recovery after the events in A Death in the Family, but finds the experience too traumatic) and "Death of the Family".[92] Other stories have expanded on this origin; "Pushback" explains that the Joker's wife was murdered by a corrupt policeman working for the mobsters,[93] and "Payback" gives the Joker's first name as "Jack".[92]

However, the Joker's unreliable memory has allowed writers to develop other origins for the character.[92] "Case Study", a Paul Dini-Alex Ross story, describes the Joker as a sadistic gangster who creates the Red Hood identity to continue the thrill of small-time criminality. He has his fateful first meeting with Batman, which results in his disfigurement. It is suggested that the Joker is sane, and feigns insanity to avoid the death penalty. In Batman Confidential (#7-12), the character, Jack, is a talented criminal who is bored with his work. He encounters (and becomes obsessed with) Batman during a heist, embarking on a crime spree to attract his attention. After Jack injures Batman's girlfriend, Batman scars Jack's face with a permanent grin and betrays him to a group of mobsters, who torture him in a chemical plant. Jack escapes, but falls into an empty vat as gunfire punctures chemical tanks above him. The flood of chemicals (used in anti-psychotic medication) alters his appearance and completes his transformation.[94] The superhero Atom sees the Joker's memory of burning his parents alive (after they find him killing animals) in The Brave and the Bold #31,[95] and Snyder's "Zero Year" (2013) suggests that the pre-disfigured Joker was a criminal mastermind leading a gang of Red Hoods.[88][96]

The Joker has claimed a number of origins, including being the child of an abusive father who broke his nose and the long-lived jester of an Egyptian pharaoh. As Batman says, "Like any other comedian, he uses whatever material will work".
Adulthood: The Joker has undergone many revisions since his 1940 debut. The most common interpretation of the character is that he is disguised as the criminal Red Hood, and pursued by Batman. The Joker falls into a vat of chemicals which bleaches his skin, colors his hair green and his lips red, and drives him insane. The reasons why the Joker was disguised as the Red Hood, and his identity before his transformation have changed over time.[22]

The character was introduced in Batman #1 (1940), in which he announces that he will kill three of Gotham's prominent citizens (including Mayor Henry Claridge). Although the police protect Claridge, the Joker had poisoned him before making his announcement and Claridge dies with a ghastly grin on his face; Batman eventually defeats him, sending him to prison.[69] The Joker commits whimsical, brutal crimes for reasons that, in Batman's words, "make sense to him alone".[45] Detective Comics #168 (1951) introduced the Joker's first origin story as Red Hood: a criminal who, during his final heist, vanishes after leaping into a vat of chemicals to escape Batman. His resulting disfigurement led him to adopt the name "Joker", from the playing card figure he came to resemble.[28] The Joker's Silver-Age transformation into a figure of fun was established in 1952's "The Joker's Millions". In this story the Joker is obsessed with maintaining his illusion of wealth and celebrity as a criminal folk hero, afraid to let Gotham's citizens know that he is penniless and was tricked out of his fortune.[70] The 1970s redefined the character as a homicidal psychopath. "The Joker's Five-Way Revenge" has the Joker taking violent revenge on the former gang members who betrayed him;[36] in "The Laughing Fish" the character chemically adds his face to Gotham's fish (hoping to profit from a copyright), killing bureaucrats who stand in his way.[35] ((Continued))

Astra (sayomina) Batman: The Killing Joke (1988) built on the Joker's 1951 origin story, portraying him as a failed comedian pressured into committing crime as the Red Hood to support his pregnant wife. Batman's interference causes him to leap into a chemical vat, which disfigures him. This, combined with the trauma of his wife's earlier accidental death, causes him to go insane and become the Joker.[28] However, the Joker says that this story may not be true and prefers his past to be "multiple choice".[71] In this graphic novel, the Joker shoots and paralyzes Barbara Gordon and tortures her father, Commissioner James Gordon, to prove that it only takes one bad day to drive a normal man insane.[57] After Batman rescues Gordon and subdues the Joker, he offers to rehabilitate his old foe and end their rivalry. Although the Joker refuses, he shows his appreciation by sharing a joke with Batman.[72]

The character's maiming of Barbara arguably turned her into a more-important character in the DC Universe: Oracle, a data gatherer and superhero informant who has her revenge in Birds of Prey by shattering the Joker's teeth and destroying his smile.[57] In the 1988 story "A Death in the Family", the Joker beats Jason Todd with a crowbar and leaves him to die in an explosion. Todd's death haunts Batman, and for the first time he considers killing the Joker.[53] The Joker temporarily escapes justice when Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini appoints him the Iranian ambassador to the United Nations, giving him diplomatic immunity. However, when he tries to poison the UN membership, he is brought down by Batman and Superman.[34]

In the 1999 "No Man's Land" storyline, the Joker murders Commissioner Gordon's second wife, Sarah, as she shields a group of infants.[73] He taunts Gordon, who shoots him in the kneecap. The Joker, lamenting that he may never walk again, collapses with laughter when he realizes that the commissioner has avenged Barbara's paralysis.[74] This story also introduced the Joker's girlfriend, Harley Quinn.[63]

The 2000s began with the crossover story "Emperor Joker", in which the Joker steals Mister Mxyzptlk's reality-altering power and remakes the universe in his image (torturing and killing Batman daily, before resurrecting him). When the supervillain then tries to destroy the universe, his reluctance to eliminate Batman makes him lose control and Superman defeats him.[75] Broken by his experience, Batman's experiences of death are transferred to Superman by the Spectre so he can heal mentally.[76] In "Joker's Last Laugh" (2001), the doctors at Arkham Asylum convince the character that he is dying in an attempt to rehabilitate him. Instead, the Joker (flanked by an army of "Jokerized" supervillains) launches a final crime spree. Believing that Robin (Tim Drake) has been killed in the chaos, Dick Grayson beats the Joker to death (although Batman revives his foe to keep Grayson from being a murderer) and the character succeeds in making a member of the Bat-family break their rule against killing.[34][69]

In "Under the Hood" (2005), a resurrected Todd tries to force Batman to avenge his death by killing the Joker (who enjoys their conflict more than killing Todd). Batman refuses, arguing that if allows himself to kill the Joker, he will not be able to stop killing other criminals.[77] The Joker kills Alexander Luthor in Infinite Crisis (2005) for excluding him from the Secret Society of Super Villains, which considers him too unpredictable for membership.[78][79] In Morrison's "Batman and Son" (2006), a deranged police officer who impersonates Batman shoots the Joker in the face, scarring and disabling him. The supervillain returns in "The Clown at Midnight" (2007) as a cruel, enigmatic force who awakens and tries to kill Harley Quinn to prove to Batman that he has become more than human.[80][34] In the 2008 story arc "Batman R.I.P." the Joker is recruited by the Black Glove to destroy Batman but betrays the group, killing its members one by one.[69] After Batman's apparent death in "Final Crisis" (2008), Grayson investigates a series of murders (which leads him to a disguised Joker).[81] The Joker is arrested, and then-Robin Damian Wayne beats him with a crowbar (paralleling Todd's murder). When the Joker escapes, he attacks the Black Glove, burying its leader (Simon Hurt) alive after the supervillain considers him a failure as an opponent; the Joker is then defeated by the recently returned Batman.[82][83][84]

In DC's New 52, a 2011 relaunch of its titles following Flashpoint, the Joker has his own face cut off.[85] He disappears for a year, returning to launch an attack on Batman's extended family in "Death of the Family" so he and Batman can be the best hero and villain they can be.[86] At the end of the storyline, the Joker falls off a cliff into a dark abyss.[86][87] The Joker returns in the 2014 storyline "Endgame", the Joker, believing that Batman has betrayed their relationship, mind controls the Justice League into attacking Batman.[88][89] The story implies that the Joker is immortal—having existed for centuries in Gotham causing tragedies—and is able to regenerate from mortal injuries. "Endgame" restores the Joker's face, and also reveals that he knows Batman's secret identity.[67] The story ends with the deaths of Batman and the Joker at each other's hands.[68]

Sadly, he is not dead and is eventually brought in by Robin and Red Robin. Deciding that Arkham isn't secure enough he is being moved here

This, but the eyes are slightly darker(For some reason I'm not using the HTML right so here's a link)
Height: 6'0
Weight: 180lb
Eyes: Deep brown
Hair: Red. Also is growing out some red/brown scruff around his mouth.

Habits: Tends to sing lyrics to songs that remind him of the topic at hand when he's talking to others.
Hobbies: Al enjoys reading thriller novels
Favorite Sayings: "I know"
Disabilities: Al has very clear and present anger issues. He has ways of coping and calming down, but sometimes they just aren't enough.
Style: When he's meeting people for the first time, he puts on an obviously fake aura of elegance. In day-to-day life, he's more laid back.
Greatest flaw: He has two: his aforementioned anger problems and his intense loyalty to those he loves. He isn't expecting to find anyone here though.
Best quality: His politeness. When he's calm, he's quite courteous to others, and has been noted for such.

Description:
Personality: In case you couldn't glean from the above: Al is a polite and loyal person for the most part, if a little distant. He's more than willing to talk to most anyone and usually remains quite civil. He does have anger problems though, and will go so far as to try and kill you if you anger him enough.
Strengths: While not a genius, Al is still quite intelligent.
Weaknesses: Al likes to ramble when he talks, and sometimes his ramblings take a little bit extra to follow. His word choice also isn't exactly the best.
Introvert or Extrovert: Extriverted introvert
Goals: Do his time and get out. Go to counseling, get himself in a better place, and win back his now-ex
Fears: Losing control. He's done it more than once, and has lost people close to him because of it.

Dislikes: Obliviousness/stupidity; waking up early

History:
Childhood: Al grew up in a middle class home in Southern Washington. He was always a little on the angrier side, but didn't start showing signs of problem until he was ten, when he broke down and beat a bully to a bloody pulp. He spent the next few years keeping to himself, feeling remorse for what he'd done and not wanting to do it again.
Teen years: Al began to open up again when he was 13. He'd gone a long time without a major incident, and had for the most part kept his cool. He was kicked out of high school at the end of sophomore year for threatening his English teacher (he never enjoyed English as a subject anyways)
Adulthood: After high school, Al went to a small private college, where he graduated with a degree in statistics. His senior year he met Rose Dae, and the two fell in love fast. He'd had some minor incidents over the years but he hasn't gone Full Al in about a decade. When he was 24, he proposed and she accepted. They'd gotten married and had moved to California, where Rose gained a stalker. An old high school sweetheart who hadn't let go. She didn't feel safe around him, but wouldn't talk to him about it much. He'd come around a lot and barage her with messages, and often follow her in the streets. He had enough of it one day when he came home and found the guy in their backyard.
Al cracked his head open with a bird bath.
The police were called and he was arrested, tried, and sentenced to 25 years. At this point he'd spent about a year in prison, and was being transferred to Barris.

History:

Childhood: Often was made fun of and harassed to the point where other children started pushing Claude off playground structures and threw rocks at him to see if 'the cry baby would notice'. As middle school came along Claude was given sanctuary in the form of his school counselor who would let him sit in her office during brunch and lunch hour and even after school as he waited for his parents to pick him up (after elementary and kids throwing rocks at him his parents decided to pick him up instead of having him walk home). But sadly she retired after seventh grade, leaving him vulnerable and fairly lonely for his last year of middle school that only seemed to have more ridicule and more harassment that was dealt with the typical way a school solves problems, a small talk and 'off to lunch'.
Teen years: Freshman year many people from his old elementary have thankfully matured but of course we're not forgiven (he was also given confused and angry comments of why he just won't get over it they were kids and joking) but a group of four of his old classmates remained unchanged on their views if him, on one occasion they met him at the back of his school and began harassing him, beating and insulting Claude. But overtime pack mentality began to set in once the bullies lost their senses and knocked Claude the ground, and stabbed a pencil from his backpack through his left hand. Luckily the boys were arrested but unfortunately, this incident only escalated something that had been building up for years upon years. A desire for pay back, a certain blood lust, and a mindset that was pressed into his mind by teachers and classmates. 'Pretend you don't care, they will only worsen if you let them.' To Claude, the years of harassment was only punishment for being so fragile.
Adulthood: Once Claude began living on his own, he'd often lol about his apartment alone with his thoughts and a carefully labeled home (labels like sharp, hot, cold, and don't trip). But one day outside of his window, lo and behold who did he see. One of the boys who scared him so long ago, just sitting about at a coffee shop with his family. All Claude could think was how hideous the sight was, thus began his plans. His plans for payback. Long story short, Claude began to pin point where each of the boys were and found ways to 'ruin' each of their lives, but disappointingly each of them so easily moved on from threats being left at their door, or his attempts at dystopian get them all in the public eye. And thus began his decision to erase them from the earth permanently. One by one he killed them all in inconsistent methods and deciding that killing them wasn't enough and decided to rob their homes of whatever bit of cash they had. Eventually he started feeling like others deserved his satisfaction and began offering to give whoever they payed for a good old bashing, this soon escalated to murder . . . The exact killing that he slipped up and was initially arrested for.

Sexual orientation: Pansexual
Nationality: Half-Hispanic (pure), Half-Caucasian (of Irish decent)
Place of birth: USA (I don’t know enough about the states lol)
Date of birth: 29th December
Crime: Numerous allegations of murder and involuntary manslaughter, several accounts of bodily harm and battery (and threats of physical assault), illegal arms use and trafficking, as well as numerous accounts of theft, vandalism, drug use, drug trafficking, extortion, a multitude of driving offences, disturbance of the peace, and… a single case of public indecency. c:

Physical Characteristics:

Picture: (it’s an old drawing so don’t judge on crappy quality plz lol) http://orig00.deviantart.net/f38b/f/2...
Height: 181 cm
Weight: 82 kg
Eyes: Forest green
Hair: Dyed scarlet although darker (almost black) at the tips. His natural hair colour is dark brown.
Distinguishing features: Tattoos. Loads of them. He has a dragon’s head on his right pectoral, a panther on his right bicep, a dagger on his inner right forearm, a full tattoo sleeve featuring a naked female demon, flaming dice and other images on his entire left arm, “Saint” across his navel, a winged heart across his upper back, a rearing swan over his lower back, a dream catcher on his left calf and a black widow and web on his right calf. He also sports a number of scars all over thanks to all the scuffles he’s gotten into.
Voice: Very slight Spanish accent he picked up from his father, although not notable (he will sometimes swear in Spanish though)
Habits: Smoking (weed mostly but beggars can’t be choosers in jail, cigarettes will have to do).
Hobbies: Running and streetfighting. May start fights in jail just for the thrill.
Favorite Sayings: “Don’t f*ck with me.” “Whatever the f*ck.” “I couldn’t give a rat’s ass.” “You wanna go?”
Disabilities: N/A
Style (Elegant, shabby etc.): Rugged and to some extent punk.
Greatest flaw: Extremely reckless and aggressive, and quite inconsiderate. Lacks respect.
Best quality: Exceptional stamina and strength. Well-focused even when under pressure.

Description:

Personality: Rude and aggressive, refusing to take people and things seriously enough to pay respect. Is a bit of a free spirit so jailing him is bound to put him under some pressure and cause him to be restless. Is quick to anger and quick to violence, and while he’ll complain about the consequences to his actions, he almost always acts without care for later implications. Extremely stubborn and at times… extremely perverted. Easily amused but just as easily irritated. Headstrong and focused on physical prowess, he has little regard for ‘pansies’.
Strengths: Physical prowess, having both agility and notable strength. He’d make a worthy opponent.
Weaknesses: Acts before he thinks… usually causes him to end up in trouble while having little idea on how to manoeuvre himself out of detrimental situations. His hearing is also not the best, which doesn’t help the fact that he already has problems listening to others.
Introvert or Extrovert: Extroverted although he gets tired of people really quickly.
Goals: To smuggle and hoard enough cigarettes for the remainder of his imprisonment. And as a little challenge on the side, to get the warden to sleep with him although this might be a bit difficult--
Fears: Having his pride downtrodden. Dying in a pathetic way.
Likes: Rock music, the colour red
Dislikes: Weak, snivelling people and conformists, the concept of family, most things in the world.

History:

Childhood: Dante had a pretty shitty life from the get go. First of all his parents hadn’t intended to have him and he was the cause for a shotgun wedding, which either parent wasn’t entirely ready for. They weren’t exactly well off, living in a rather scummy neighbourhood, and financial issues and selfish interests caused the two to almost always be fighting, so this drew from Dante a lot of much-needed attention and ‘caused him to be somewhat alienated from either individual at a young age. They sent him to elementary school as necessary but since neither ever encouraged their son as to the importance of education the kid quickly got bored of it all and very rarely heeded instructions. This caused him to become a bit of a problem student who, additionally, would be quite rude to the other children, but this very quickly caused him to get ignored by educators or shunned. By grade 5 he was already jigging school, sometimes managing to convince a few kids to come along with him and in time making a few friends who had a reputation for being disobedient students who probably wouldn’t amount to much anyway. Not that his parents cared, so Dante learned not to either.
Teen years: By early middle school his parents had already divorced and Dante stayed solely with his mother, his father moved states with some other girl he met. The added stress turned his mother into a bit of an alcoholic and after her divorce she became very loose with who she’d invite home so Dante would find himself staying out at the numerous hangout spots or at a mate’s place/garage most of the time. He’d committed some petty crimes by this time, most notably widespread vandalism and theft. He reached the end of middle school but after failing tenth grade twice (mostly due to continuous absence) he dropped out of school entirely. From here there was very little opportunity for him except on the streets, where he spent most of his time on the streets dabbling in the wrong things (drugs mostly) and with the wrong people. He got into streetfighting, and although he got beat up a lot, it was no deterrent and after years of fighting this became a ‘hobby’ of sorts in which he’d earned some regard. His mother cared not for him so he’d very scarcely return home unless he needed to go into hiding.
Adulthood: From the age of twenty he joined a gang (called Hell’s Saints) along with some of his mates, the cause of which he began dabbling in more serious crimes and involved himself in drug trafficking. Drug trafficking ascended to arms trade; by this point he was very familiar with shoot-outs and had immersed himself entirely in typical gang-life. His first murder was a result of a shoot-out, nothing more than a thrill. The illegal businesses set him up very nicely in terms of finance, after which he was living comfortably in an apartment of his own generally with whatever boy/girlfriend he had at the time (unsurprisingly he goes through partners very quickly), however upon building a reputation his confidence drove him and several closer members of his gang to the point where they were (rather recklessly) challenging the police force, which very quickly served to screw him over. After a very long and chaotic police chase, Dante Reyes was apprehended and forced into prison with the promise of life-long imprisonment. His mother has no idea, but even if she did, she probably wouldn’t give a sh*t.
Elderly years: He probably won’t live that long lol.

Family:

Siblings: None.
Spouse: None.
Children: None. (Maybe… who knows, he definitely doesn’t.)
Parents: Juan Reyes, Alyssa Callaghan. Divorced, don’t care for him, practically disowned him and he doesn’t care for them either.

Rose - Sadness pie soup - (richwhitetrash) | 136 comments THIS IS NOT A ORIGINAL CHARACTER. THIS IS BASED OFF OF THOMAS HARRIS'S CHARACTER, AND THAT SHOWN IN THE FILM ADAPTIONS OF HIS FOUR NOVELS.

Basics:

Name: Hannibal Lecter
Age: 50
Gender: Male
Sexual orientation: Pansexual
Nationality: Russian
Place of birth: Lithuania
Crime: A series of hundreds of cannibalistic murders.

Physical Characteristics:

Picture: http://imgur.com/gallery/oGQpa
Height: 5"7
Weight: 130 lbs.
Eyes: Small, beady and in a dark shade of maroon.
Hair: Black and slicked back.
Distinguishing features: A second middle finger, many scars.
Habits: Besides his affinity for murder, Hannibal enjoys cooking, and enjoying fine cuisine.
Hobbies: Too many to name. But to name a few, Hannibal is a extremely talented artist, alongside a chef and musician.
Favorite Sayings: “Mieux vaut prévenir que guérir” is another widely used proverb, understood by all French natives. It literally means, “It is better to prevent than to heal".
Disabilities: See PERSONALITY
Style: Hannibal lives by the principle of "dress everyday like you'll be murdered". He wears sleek suites, mostly Tom Ford, and leather loafers.
Greatest flaw: His insanity
Best quality: His intelligence

Description:

Personality: (Via Wikipedia) Red Dragon firmly states that Lecter does not fit any known psychological profile. In The Silence of the Lambs, Lecter's keeper, Dr. Frederick Chilton, claims that Lecter is a "pure sociopath" ("pure psychopath" in the film adaptation). In the novel Red Dragon, protagonist Will Graham says that Lecter has no conscience and tortured animals as a child, but does not exhibit any other of the criteria traditionally associated with psychopathy. Graham explains that psychiatrists refer to Lecter as a sociopath because "they don't know what else to call him". In the film adaptation of The Silence of the Lambs, protagonist Clarice Starling says of Lecter, "They don't have a name for what he is."
Lecter's pathology is explored in greater detail in Hannibal and Hannibal Rising, which explain that he was traumatized as a child in Lithuania in 1944 when he witnessed the murder and cannibalism of his beloved sister, Mischa, by a group of deserting Lithuanian Hilfswillige, one of whom claimed that Lecter unwittingly ate his sister as well.

All media in which Lecter appears portray him as intellectually brilliant, cultured and sophisticated, with refined tastes in art, music and cuisine. He is frequently depicted preparing gourmet meals from his victims' flesh, the most famous example being his admission that he once ate a census taker's liver "with some fava beans and a nice Chianti" (a "big Amarone" in the novel). He is well-educated and speaks several languages, including Italian, German, Russian, Polish, French, Spanish, and, to some extent, Japanese.[3] He is deeply offended by rudeness, and frequently kills people who have bad manners. Prior to his capture and imprisonment, he was a member of Baltimore, Maryland's social elite, and a sitting member of the Baltimore Philharmonic Orchestra's board of directors
Strengths: His intelligence can be overpowering, but physically, he isn't extremely strong or anything. He is powerful not physical, but because of his superior wit and intelligence.
Weaknesses: Hannibal can't stand any mentions of his sister, and will kill anyone who dares bring up the subject.
Introvert or Extrovert: Ambivert
Goals: Hannibal has no other goals than escaping the prison. He has accomplished everything he ever wanted in life.
Fears: All that scares him are his memories, the faint memory of the Eastern Front.
Likes: As a deeply-cultured person, Hannibal enjoys fine food and wine, old film and orchestra music.
Dislikes: Hannibal has no tolerance for bad manners, and can't stand people who are proud of low-class behaviors.

History:
(Summary of Hannibal Rising from Wikipedia)

Childhood/Teen years: Opening in Lithuania during 1941, Hannibal Lecter is eight years old and living in a castle with his parents and sister, Mischa. With the castle located near the eastern front of World War II, the Lecter family escapes to their lodge to elude the advancing German troops. With the castle abandoned, it is soon raided by Nazis and civilians aiding them, their hidden art collection among the stolen loot. Three years later, an advancing Soviet tank stops at the Lecter family's lodge looking for water, only to be bombed by a German Stuka, the explosion killing all but the children. Surviving in the lodge, Hannibal and Mischa are captured when five deserters appear: Grutas, Milko, Grentz, Dortlich, and Kolnas. Storming and looting the lodge, they lock the Lecters in the barn. Running low on supplies, the soldiers soon take Mischa; realizing they intend to cannibalize her, Hannibal tries to stop them, only to have his arm broken before he blacks out.
Hannibal is later spotted by a Soviet tank crew, wearing shackles and rendered mute. Returned to Lecter Castle, now a Soviet orphanage, Hannibal is found to be irreparably traumatized by the ordeal. Removed from the orphanage by his uncle Robert Lecter, Hannibal goes to live with him in France with his aunt, Lady Murasaki. Visiting a marketplace with his aunt, Lecter assaults butcher Paul Momund when he insults Murasaki. Count Lecter, learning of the slight against his wife, violently confronts the butcher and collapses and subsequently dies from a heart attack. Losing most of the Count's estate to death duties, Lecter and Murasaki move across France, and Lecter flourishes as a medical student, assisting by preparing cadavers for lessons.

Locating Momund the butcher, Lecter murders him for his actions, eviscerating and beheading him before eating his cheeks. Suspected by Inspector Popil, Lecter escapes suspicion when Murasaki falsifies evidence, suggesting Momund's death was political. Using sodium thiopental to recall the lodge, Lecter remembers Mischa's murder and her killer's faces, and that the lodge was shelled; the building burning and soldiers fleeing, Lecter was freed by Kolnas, who was then crushed by falling debris. Working with Popil to recover his family's stolen art, Lecter attends a recovered art exhibition with Murasaki, and speaks with one of Grutas' men selling the art. Afraid he will uncover their identities, Grutas sends Dortlich to murder him.

Returning to the dilapidated lodge, Lecter searches the ruins and finds a bag of buried loot, which also contains the hidden dogtags of his captors. Attacked by Dortlich, Lecter strikes him with his shovel, and ties him to a tree stump. Noosed to a horse, Dortlich confirms Grentz relocated to Canada, and that Kolnas owns a restaurant in Fontainebleau; despite his pleas, Lecter uses the horse to tear off Dortlich's head. Returning to France, Lecter is kissed by Murasaki, who insists that he promise to stop killing and to co-operate with Popil; Lecter responds that he already promised revenge for Mischa, and leaves. Lecter continues his studies only to be stalked during his night-shift by Milko. Outwitting Milko and drugging him, Lecter interrogates him for information on Grutas, before drowning him in an embalming tank and incinerating his remains.

Eating at Kolnas' restaurant, Lecter notices his daughter is wearing Mischa's stolen bracelet. Entering Grutas' property, Hannibal sets an improvised bomb and confronts him as he bathes, only to be interrupted by Grutas' guards. As Lecter is about to be killed, his bomb detonates and cuts the power, allowing him to wound the guards and escape in the chaos. Returning to Murasaki's home, Lecter receives a call from Grutas, who threatens to kill her unless he surrenders; overhearing ortolans singing in the background of the phone call, Lecter breaks into Kolnas' home, and then heads to his restaurant. Lecter shows he took Mischa's bracelet from his daughter and, in exchange for information, offers to spare Kolnas and free his family. Giving up the location of Grutas' houseboat, Kolnas then realizes Lecter was lying about holding his family. Attacked by Kolnas, Lecter fatally stabs him through the head with a tantō.

Finding and reaching the boat, Lecter sneaks aboard but is wounded by the captain. Killing the guards and captain, Lecter rushes to save Murasaki, only to be shot in the back by Grutas, who boasts while molesting a bound Murasaki. Lecter removes his tantō, dimpled by Grutas' bullet, and uses it to cut Grutas' hamstring. With Grutas disarmed, Murasaki begs Lecter spare him for Popil, only for Grutas to mock him. Taunting that Lecter drank broth made from Mischa, he suggests Lecter kills only to continue lying to himself; enraged, Lecter carves several "M"s into Grutas, fatally wounding him. Horrified by Lecter, Murasaki declares there's nothing human left inside him to love, and dives overboard. Detonating the houseboat with an improvised explosive, Lecter flees the scene.

Arrested by Popil, Lecter is soon freed when popular support for his dispatch of war criminals combines with a lack of hard evidence. Lecter meets with Murasaki, and they say their goodbyes and part. Offered a residency at Johns Hopkins Hospitalin Baltimore, Maryland, Lecter heads overseas to North America, stopping briefly to visit bar-owner Grentz in Quebec, Canada.

History:

Childhood: Juliana lived a decent childhood in a decently affluent home with her immigrant parents from Catalonia. The small family resided in Chandler, Arazona while not entirely questioning why her father wanted to go to this specific state. None the less she had a relatively happy childhood, often playing around with the neighbors kids and sneaking peaks at action movies her parents would watch past her bedtime.
Teen years: Juliana was often doubted by her peers of her ability to be a part of the police force due to how emotional and scattered she was. But over all, she had a pretty normal (at least in her eyes) high school life. The occasional annoyance in classes, the very few crushes or fun little outings with friends. To her, this was nothing noteworthy, though in the mean time her hanging out with friends so much provided time for her parents to continue dealing drugs under the protective eye of Julianas uncle David Jorda (currently working in the police force)
Adulthood: After graduating college and required education to enter the police force, she joined the Glendale Police department (where she was living in an apartment). After three uneventful years of everyday police work and handing out traffic tickets, she managed to get herself a job as a detective, well it wasn't fabulous. She was mostly sorting papers for the first three years (now twenty four years old). Though on her fourth year, while working on a robbery case, she met the owner of a little resturaunt next door to the crime scene (a jewelry shop). He had a handsome face and a gentle look to him, and his name was Diego Amaro. Even after the case was said and done, she was always drawn back to that area, Diego was so hospitable, a good listener, Juliana always felt calm aroun him, that year she was happily married and moved into a much nicer home that was given to Diego by his affluent family. Their first attempt at a child, was a failure. He was a miscarriage, sure Juliana was getting a better grip of her emotions, but this set off her extreme mood swings once more. Even the police force told her to take time off and receive counseling before she could return to work, one year passed and the greif was tucked away. Not quite treated but she wanted to get back to working as soon as possible.

After a wonderful accident and months after returning to work, James Amaro was born, though now with a kid in the house Juliana couldn't help but shake off the first kid the couple tried to have. After eighteen years of watching Jame's life go by adn turning fourth three, Diego and Juliana at last have the home to themselves. A home that would be vacant after Juliana is found sleeping by the nearby highway covered in blood and gasoline, after killing and burning her husband, her neighbors and their children.
