OMG Jalal fighting with Khalid! I was so upset when Despina said she wanted to marry Vikram, the Rajput. I was so confused but it makes sense that she would ask him to help her with this to leave and hid the baby but I hope that is it. Poor Jalal is so upset and to think so badly of Khalid when he was so good and sweet in the first book this is heartbreaking even more because Khalid needs him more than ever. I wish Jalal would see reason and see he had know idea Despina was the one he spoke of and he was just trying to be good to Vikram and Despina by approving their request. Though it's probably good he didn't add in that she disappeared with her soon to be husband lol. I hope Jalal will find her and convince her he does love her and she should in fact marry him.
