I don't have much here, so recommendations would be great. I am looking at Uglies, Under the Never Sky, or The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer.

unPHILtered: The Way I See It by Phil Robertson was an easy read and an interesting view of life from a different perspective.

Yeah, Kevin, that might be a good one for me to do.

I don't know if you wanted their name to start with U, but since you said U in their name, I started looking back through my books. A U in a name was much more rare than I thought. I enjoy all Lauren Oliver and recently read Don't Look Back by Jennifer Armentrout and enjoyed it.

Sherry Lister | 45 comments I haven't read the Uglies series yet, but I want to. I thoroughly enjoyed "Under the Never Sky"!! I would recommend it! I would be interested to read UnPHILtered!! That sounds interesting. As of now, I am planning to read "Under Different Stars" by Amy A. Bartol.

Kay | 31 comments The Uncommon Reader by Alan Bennett. Another Queen of England book. When her corgis stray into a mobile library parked near the palace, she feels like she has to check out a book and discovers the joy of reading. Fun!

Ok book although it was a little predictable. I didn't like how it had so many flash backs in the middle of the story line.

I read The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer and really enjoyed it. I think I might actually like the 2nd one better. I love unreliable protagonists that don't quite have all the pieces themselves so you are trying to puzzle it out. She has PTSD flashes and trouble seeing hallucinations and flashbacks, so what is real or not with her is interesting. Her family dynamics are also really fun. It's a little too much love story for me. The love interest reminds me a little of Edward Cullen or Christian Grey which I dislike, but I like him better than either of them. I am reading the second one now, and she has a revelation at the end of the first book which is making this one interesting so far. I am still not sure if I can trust her judgement, so we will see!
