Alkia landed beside the pool of healing on tired wings. Ever sense his battle with Rai, he'd found that basically everything hurled and he didn't have the energy he use to have, so the healer recommended that he come over to the pool to see if it would help. So with a tired sigh, he stripped himself down to his undergarments and entered the pool.
Sasuke at the bottom of the pool sleeping and healing. He didn't notice Alkia till the vibrations in the water moved him.
"Oh sorry Sasuke, didn't see ya there," Alkia chuckled as he sat down and allowed the water to do it's work.
Sasuke swims up and Shakes his wet hair and it looks crazy. "Hey where have you been?" Sasuke patting his hair down. (http://orig08.deviantart.net/ff41/f/2...)
"Mother grounded me for a month after she found out I took on a god in a duel and nearly gotten myself killed so I haven't been out much," Alkia answered.
"She almost grounded me but then I put on the I don't care care face and she gave up, dude stick with my I don't care face and she wont ground you" Sasuke said letting his body flow with the water.
"Yeah, but if I try that she'll go to my father, who's the the ten toned king of dragons," Alkia said with an award chuckle.
"Ohh" Sasuke says with an I don't care face and splash water on him. Then starts swimming around really fast testing his speed. ((Is it ok if he live with Alkia cause Sasuke doesn't have a family))
((Sure though that would make him a prince as well.))
"Oh your going to pay for that,," Alkia exclaimed as he chased after his adopted brother.
"Oh your going to pay for that,," Alkia exclaimed as he chased after his adopted brother.
"Oh really," Alkia smirked as he shifted into dragon form and swam right ahead of his brother, citing him off.
"Really you want to train now?" Sasuke says getting up and Standing on the water. Sasuke gets in Fighting stances with fire in his hands.
"As much as I want to, the healers said to take it easy for a while so I can't," Alkia said as he returned to his normal form and laid back down.
"I just remembered when you have karma for a week and how you mess up your fights and flew and hurt urself" Sasuke laughing trying to calm down.
"Hey, I thought we agreed never to mention that," Alkia exclaimed. "Besides there's more to being a good dragon child then being a good fighter."
"Huh never thought of it that way" Sasuke shooting out of water landing on his feet and gets a towel anddrys himself off. " Come on were going on an adventure" Sasuke days fixing his boxers.
"Okay just nowhere to dangerous, I still hurt all over so I probably wouldn't be that good fighting shades," Alkia said as he got up and got himself dried, dressed and ready to go. "You know now that we go hoping around the worlds all the time. I kinda miss just having fun together, just the two of us."
"Yeah i miss it too" Sasuke says puting on his shirt, hoodie, shorts, sneakers. And puts healing gel on Alkia to heal him while they go.
"Yeah, so where are we heading," Alkia asked, still feeling a bit sore even with the gel, but he didn't want to be left out. Especially sense it always felt like they got so little time together with both of them being full fledged dragon children.
"Umm where ever this portal takes us" Sasuke says making a portal. "See you on the other side" Sasuke said hopping in.
"Yeah and hopefully not surrounded by an army of freakin shades," Alkia grumbled as he follow his brother into the portal.
Wren sat at the edge of the pool, holding one of the diamonds she'd taken from the Queen. It wasn't stealing, she told herself. The Queen had given them to her. It wasn't her fault the Queen had no sense of value. Just this one -it could feed her for ages. Buy her good, really good clothes. She looked over into her reflection in the still corners of the pool. A little spring of silver wire, affixed to the diamond, let it hold its place in her hair. Tentatively, she pushed back a gnarled strand of her hair, twisting it, and put the diamond in place. It looked rather... nice. Too bad she was going to sell it. Maybe she could even get something cheap that could tame her hair.
((Sorry wifi went down.))
Alkia flew down on tired wings. Order missions missions had taken his toll to the point that he didn't even notice his jewel encrusted dagger becoming detached from his belt as he stripped to his undergarments and layer in the pools healing waters. He knew that he couldn't continue like this, but honestly he didn't know what else to.
((Sokay!))Wren glanced up, only to see a high prince -DOFFING HIS DUDS AND DIPPING IN THE SACRED POOL! She gasped, rather loudly, too shocked to notice his dagger either.
Alkia jumped at the sound of Wren's gasp, covering his front part with his wings to hide his sacred regions. When he finally managed to recover enough to look up and see Wren, he manage to suppress a blush, and chuckle awkwardly, "sorry, didn't see you there!"
"Unfortunately, I can't say the same," she managed, pocketing her diamonds. She looked away, covering her face.
"Yeah, my apologies, just give me a moment to look presentable," Alkia said as he ducked behind a nearby statue quickly got himself presentable again. Still he needed the pools healing waters, so sitting on the shore he took some water in his hands and began to run through his feathered wings, feeling his strength return as he did so.
She nodded. "I can go-!" she piped. He was obviously someone of importance, all... dragon-y/bird-y as he was. She cleared her throat and laid back. She'd healed several scars here before. Ah... she wished she could do an illusion, but he'd already seen her.
"No it's fine, it was my fault for not looking around before you know. So you can stay if you want, so long as you don't mind me running some water through my wings. The order has been giving way to many missions as of late so if I don't do this I'll probably collapse from exhaustion," Alkia said with a smile as he continued to run water through his wings.
"You could just sleep," she pointed out, wondering why in the world someone would substitute sleep with a bath. Sleep was much more fulfilling. "I don't mind." She really hadn't seen that much, but the mere notion of one of them without fancy clothes -or without clothes, for that matter- was like seeing a dog with no skin. Wren had her own feet in the water. "I could go."
"That would be nice, but nowadays it seems like every time I close my eyes I'm needed somewhere else. So sadly this is the best I can do at the moment," Alkia said with a sigh,"and please don't leave, the pool is meant for everyone and in all honesty it's nice to be around someone who isn't an order member or a bloody shade trying to rip my throat out."
"In all honesty, you're making assumptions," she said, almost pouting as she crossed her arms. "I could be an order member or a shade, or whatever, sent as an assassin or something. You're a bit trusting," she accused, although she did slip into the water. She didn't care about her clothes. She was finally able to buy new ones, now.
"Yeah your right I can be a bit trusting at time. However I think I'm right in your case. Your to old to be a dragon child and you don't smell like a dragon, so you can't be an order member like me. And it's highly unlikely that you would be a shade or an assassin, as if your were. You'd be doing a pretty poor job, gasping when I was stripping, instead of taking the opportunity to stab me with my guard down," Alkia replied.
She frowned. "That doesn't mean there's nothing else sinister in the world that's out to get you," she pointed out, although she had to agree. She'd missed a really good opportunity because he'd decided to preform his own personal strip tease. She frowned a little bit, wanting to say that she didn't stab anyone. But... that wasn't necessarily true, now was it? "You're jabby, princeling. You're not asking me to bow or abscond before you go all "off with her head for glimpsing the royal abs!"Sylph was shamelessly checking him out. She wanted to strangle the little light girl, but she didn't want to need to explain why she was talking to thin air.
"We I fight and kill things that could rip my head off if I let them, so believe me when I say I know danger. I just like to give people the benefit of the doubt before turning them into a pill of ashes," Alkia chuckled. " And I don't know how many dragon children or members of dragon royal family you've meet, but last time I checked. We didn't go around decapitating everyone who see our bare chests by accident, particularly when it's our fault for not looking. I personally hope I'm a much better person than that."
"I know a lot of people who could rip your head off," she said, thinking herself in particular. "Just because someone can doesn't make them worthy of death." She didn't like to think that he was only talking with her because she wasn't a threat. Quaint. Wren glanced at Syl, who was pacing down the stretch of one of Alkia's wings, hovering over an inch or two. She seemed to be measuring, doing calculations. "Get over here," she hissed, under her breath, hoping the prince couldn't hear. Sylph was REALLY pressing it this time. The Sylph really was a more... happy, careless -or carefree- version of Wren. Wren really hadn't inquired if she had a real name... But she didn't want to go on calling the girl 'Wren Two', so Sylph or Syl worked.
"I'm sure you do and I'm pretty sure you could too, but you aren't being hostile to me right now and personally I much prefer making friends over enemies. Though it doesn't always work as my missing eye can testify," Alkia said as he flutter his wings a bit as he could feel something touching them, but couldn't see what it was.
"You look young," she said, "But how old are you, really?" Wren asked, scoffing derisively at his 'friends' comment. Yeah... right. No one in their right mind would be friends with her. No noble, at least. Sylph reluctantly left him alone... but started making ripples in the water.
"I'll be a hundred and one come summer which is young by the standards of both my mothers and fathers people," Alkia answered, "And forgive my if I'm wrong, but it seems like you believe that I'm not being genuine in my attempts of being civil due to my noble blood."
"Well, that's not fair. That means you have to live forever and if you fall in love with the wrong person, she'll be dead by the time you're 18." She stuck out her tongue. "And it's not your nobility. It's the riches, the reputation, the whole ego of the gig."
"Yes, but it also means that if I do truly fall in love with a mortal then I'll have to watch them die while I'll have to continue living through the centuries without them," Alkia replied solemnly. "And my friend, I may be rich, and my reputation my proceed me, but if there's one thing I or any of my family or any member of the dragon children are not it's self centered pigs. My only to make desire is to see that all the people of the world's are safe and I'm here at this pool because I'm working myself to the point of exhaustion trying bring that into reality. So please just give me the benefit of the bout and don't judge me based on what others have done."
She shrugged her shoulders and snorted, as if he'd passed inspection. "I'm Wren," she offered, crossing her arms. "I never heard of nobles going off and letting their own butts get kicked in war," she pointed out, glaring at Syl when she cannonballed into the shallows.
"Alkia," the prince replied with a smile. "No it's not to odd when one thinks about it. I am a leader both amount the dragons and the children. I can't really be expected to sleep at night asking those who look up to me to do things that I'm not willing to do myself. Especially among the children who despite being blessed by the fire God himself are really just scared kids taken from their home worlds because they were ether orphans or they were being abused in one shape or another, they need the guidance of their leaders to do what they need to, now more than ever."
