What does black remind yo of?

Comfort

My wardrobe

Black reminds me of loneliness. The kind you feel in depression. It strikes and never leaves. You try to get out but it's useless. Loneliness is an endless void trapping you. One day you can escape but not easily.

Black reminds me of pain. Pain that you try to hide. Pain that you try to ignore. Pain that makes you feel empty. Pain that makes you feel useless.

Black doesn't have to represent pain though, it can represent strength.

Darker places are a lot better

They really are, easy on the eyes and usually are good places to think.
