Hi everyone!

This is Tessa Smokes, a.k.a the girl with insecurity issues who happen to be a writer and lover of YA mythological books, and especially in love with the Mythos Academy series. I'm a very high imaginative person but can't fight off the doubt and plentiful flow of pessimism. I signed up for Goodreads early this year but just had half the gut to put myself out there and actually 'live' the life of a deserving author. I hope being here will wash some self-confidence into me to be the writer of my dream.

I don't know if that helped you any, but just know that you're AWESOME! Follow your dream(s) and don't let ANYONE tell you that you aren't good enough or you just don't have it because they are the negative people in your life that just need to get a life of their own. Surround yourself with positive people that will encourage you to go after something that seems impossible. Surround yourself with people that will pick you back up if you fall. Take risks and live life like tomorrow isn't going to come because you don't know what will happen. You just have to follow your heart. Just keep trying and don't stop because in the end you will look back on your life and will want to be satisfied with how it turned out. Then you will realize that it was all worth it, and that you are powerful and AMAZING.
