Although this isn't that recent of a book, I was intrigued when I heard of it last year. A girl who's touch is lethal. What kind of childhood is that? I think a lot of teenagers can relate to this book because all our lives we are told to trust adults, but as we reach our teen years we hear of so many examples of adults doing "bad" things and we become less trusting. In life you have to learn to trust, God, your friends, and especially yourself.
By the time I got to the end of this book, it reminded me a lot of the book I am writing right now. I think it would really cool to have powers like this, but in this case, it wasn't very good. Overall I thought it was a good book, but I didn't go running for the sequel. I'm not sure why...I guess it didn't hook me like some other books. I loved it, though.
