I liked the idea for some sort of therapy group. You did mention you had other ideas, though, so it might be nice to see all of the options before we make a decision.

okay! i'm finally on a computer so here are my vague ideas: and if you have any then please share!

keep in mind that these are more settings than they are roleplay ideas

- therapy group (as mentioned)
- group home
- toxic relationship
- terminal illness
- a little world building could be interesting, too. say, a roleplay revolving around a gang and its members, or two rival gangs
- anything medieval could be angsty and adventure filled (corrupted hierarchy, mercenaries, torture, executions, war, etc.)

those were basically the general themes of what i've had going on in my mind, haha. if there's one you're interested in i might be able to elaborate :p

Haha I can never say no to angsty medieval adventure. Do you have anything more in mind for that, or do we need to come up with something?

not much, to be honest, i haven't really had the opportunity to do this with many people, haha. but i guess it depends on what take you'd want on the roleplay? would you prefer we have only one character each and have the roleplay revolve around the two of them, or have multiple characters that we'd alternate roleplaying or roleplay all at once. if i'm not making any sense, let me know xP

I usually really like rps with multiple characters, so I'd love to go that way, if you're fine with that?

i'm trying to think of an original plotline but i'm not all that creative at the moment it seems, haha. so far what i've got is:

- king dies unexpectedly, and rumours of an assassination spreads throughout the kingdom, as well as whispers of a rebellion group who may or may not have a part to play in this
- we could focus the roleplay outside of castle walls and have it revolve around a group of knights who are part of an army fighting a war against an enemy
- lots of drama amongst the royals and nobles (love triangles, bastard children, envy, the whole nine yards)

Here's several:

- A civil war had recently come to an end, and as a sign of mercy, the new king/queen had forgiven the nobles who had supported the previous royalty, and allowed them to stay at court. But an official pardon doesn't mean all is well or that the other nobles have forgiven and forgotten.
-Unhappy arranged marriages, and resulting affairs (particularly scandalous would be affairs with people of lower station than the noble in question)
-For whatever reason, a bastard is legitimized, and they don't really know what to do, since they've never actually had to be nobility before, and the other nobility don't like this bastard newcomer being raised up to their level
-Centuries old rivalries between two families, and no one can really remember why they're rivals, but they keep it up
-A romance that ended badly leads to a lot of passive-aggression, rumor-spreading among the nobles, and attempts to ruin each other's images
-After the death of their parents, a young noble inherits the family title/lands/etc., and wants nothing to do with it or the responsibility.

If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them :) Since we're doing multiple characters, we can pick as many ideas as we want, I guess.

Oh! And if none of those ideas really strike your fancy (or if you want to combine this with them), I have a plot for a group with a medieval setting that never really got off the ground. (view spoiler)[

The marriage of the heirs of two kingdoms is a joyous affair, and fully entitled to all the pomp and circumstance that can be provided.

From all around the neighboring kingdoms and countries, royals and nobles flock to Brelrien, pouring into the capital for the ceremony. It's two weeks of dancing, feasting, and celebration.

But forces are at work that most are not aware of. Whispers and conspiracy in the shadows. There are those who would seek to turn this celebration into the start of rebellion. Who would see the capital burn in order to right past wrongs.
