Odds and Ends discussion

Bella sat down in the field and looked up at the stars.

"Yeah it is." Bella said looking over at Annabelle.

"i miss it too. i think the last time we came out here at night was when i got into that fight with my parents." Bella said smiling and the memory

"Yeah it was." she sighed. "My parent wish to send me away..." she said looking down at the grass.

"A little i guess but if i go back they will not let me back you know that." Bella said thinking about the last time she saw her parents.

"Anna, what do we do now?" Bella asked.

"about anything...i'm not with him anymore and i want to get out of this town. I want to do something big like..." Bella was not sure what she wanted to do.

"The guy that got me disowned from my family...he left me for someone else and i don't know what's big but i don't want to stay here for the rest of my life...i want to go out and see the world." Bella said looking over at her.

Bella laughed with her "When do you want to leave?"

"let's meet back here in the morning and we will leave then, it will give us time to pack what we need and get some rest." Bella smiled at anna glad that she understood.

"I feel the same way." Bella smiled at her. "and thanks for coming with me."

Bella entered her one room apartment and placed everthing that she had left in a backpack. she got a few hours of sleep and when she woke she turned in her key and left for the field.

"You ready?" Bella asked when she saw Annabelle walk up.

"there is a town across the water i figure we can head there first." Bella said

"Yeah, we will work on them and by the time we come back you will have mastered them." Bella smiled knowing that some how what she said was true.

Veronica sat on the side of the road waiting to see if someone would come by. She had been walking for what seemed like hours and she decided she shouldnt walk on if there was nothing to walk on for...

"Yeah i do think so." Bella smiled at her "are we just going to stand here?" Bella asked turning to leave. She was turning her back on the town, she did not know when she would be back but she did know that when she did she would not be the same girl that was leaving now.

Veronica looked up and saw two girls walking up to her. "Oh..Hey! I was wondering if anyone was ever going to pass by." Veronica said as she began to smile.

"Im Veronica! What are your names?" She said smiling even more just feeling happy like she usualy does.

"Bella." she said watching Veronica. she was not very trusting after she had been left alone with only the things she now had in her backpack.

Bella nodded and relaxed a little

"What brings you wizards down this old beaten road?" Veronica asked. "I hope im not intruding on your privacy.." She added seeing Bella's tension.

"We are leaving our town." Bella said.

"Thats interesting. Do you need a ride?" Veronica asked knowing she could of done this a long time ago, but something told her she should wait, and sure enough here comes two other wizards.

"We wouldn't want to intrude." Bella said.

"I mean it." Veronica said as she pulled out her wand and waved it. A red convertable appeared and keys dropped into Veronica's hand.

'well, if something happens it's two agains one.' Bella thought then said. "if you are sure it won't be a problem."

"Okay." Bella said nodding

"Well then..lets go!" Veronica hopped into the drivers seat and started the engine.

Bella go in the back seat.

"Well..I was beaten by my dad all the time until i was thirteen thats when i got the courage to run off. I just have been using my magic and walking to get around..I haven't really done that much..just traveling. Thats when i wound up here." Veronica said since there really wasnt much of a reason of why she was there or what she was doing.

"You got that right." Bella agreed smiling.

"Dont feel bad. I dont..It made me strong so it doesnt matter anymore to me. And if you dont mind me asking how do you know/not know if you miss your parents? what happened?" Veronica asked.

"You don't have to say." Bella said to Annabelle "You must not be from around here." he said to Veronica "i know this isn't the kindest think to say but, i wish my dad would beat me. it would be better than what my parents are doing now." Bella said looking out the window.

"Im sorry for intruding.." Veronica said. "So is there anywhere in particular you guys want to go?" She said trying to change the subject.

"anywhere but where we come from..." Bella pulled out her map. "I was thinking about heading to Safton. it is just on the other side to the river."

"Okay." Veronica said as she grew silent not wanting to disturb Bella again.

"I'm sorry i'm being a jerk." Bella said after a few minutes of silence. "I find it harder to trust people after my family disowned me because of a guy who left me for another girl."

"Its fine." Veronica said. "I just am more of a go with the flow kind of person and i dont really think about how anyone else is about things...."

Bella smiled at her "Okay, how about you come with us on our travel. both of us have a lot to learn and i think you can help."

"Really? I would love that!" Veronica said.

"Really." Bella nodded

"How do you need my help?" Veronica asked a little confused.

"Well i wasn't always so...untrusting. And i want to be that way again and i want to redeam myself in my parent's eyes." Bella said.

"Oh. Well i will start helping by asking why you need to redeam yourself. So why do you need to redeam yourself?" Veronica asked.

"I met this guy and well my parents didn't like him. He started changing me and my parents told me it was them or him. I thought we were in love so i choose him. My family disowned me and he left me a few months later." Bella told her.

"I think we should start by finding this guy..." Veronica said as she started going faster seeing the river up ahead.

"Why should we do that?" Bella asked confused.

"Because...you obviously haven't forgiven yourself and that will help you do so.." Veronica explained. They were a couple of yards from the waters edge and she stepped on the gas.

"Yeah i guess your right." Bella said.
