Just ordered Betty Zane, the first novel (and self-published) in Zane Grey's Frontier Trilogy. Discussions suggest that all are highly romanticized historical fiction, but will give a read as I've the second and third at home which I found at garage sale. We'll see.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have an old copy of Betty Zane, but I never read it. What's the name of the first novel in the Frontier trilogy? I may have read it. I can't recall.

Betty Zane is first, followed by The Spirit of the Border, and The Last Trail
