Dread Forest (roleplay) discussion

This is a cold and dark place. The guards throw the rebels and criminals in here to await their trials.

Dread sits in the dungeon shivering from the cold awaiting his trial.
"Stupid me I should have turned invisible when I had the chance," whispers Dread listening to the shouts of the other prisoners. He paces back and forth plotting his escape out of this filthy place. All of his weapons are gone and all of his gear was taken too, he is only left with a brown, torn shirt and some black shorts. The standard uniform for prisoners.

((I'm going to use Aelin because Cinderglacier has been busy))

Aelin made her way down the dungeon stairs while tuning out the screams and shouts coming from the prisoners. They had their chance.

Dread noticed somebody walking through the dungeon.
just a guard
Dread though turning away from the cell door.

Aelin stiffened and turned towards the dark figure. She made her way towards him.

((So should they know each other in this or...))

Dread stepped away from the door
please just lead me to my trial already thought Dread preparing for heavy armoured guards to step through.

Aelin stepped into the light and stared at the man. "It seems that you have gotten yourself into trouble."

"No way Sherlock," said Dread surprised that no guards had come.
I ay just be able to escape, if only I had a weapon thought Dread looking around for one.

"And who are you?" asked Dread suspiciously.

She smiled. "My name is Aelin." No need to frighten him with the title part... "And you are?"

"You don't know me? I'm an Assassin that was working for Crimson Burn when I was captured b your kingdom guards so...," said Dread leaning against the wall.

Aelin slid herself down the wall and sat next to the bars of his cell. "An assassin? Really? Who were you sent to kill then?"

"The queen," said Dread sliding away from Aelin.

"Oh? I've heard stories about her. Why were you sent to kill her? Surely she isn't that bad. I mean, the girl was made Queen when she was young. She barely had a childhood. Or that's what they tell me." She stared at the ground with her jaw slightly clenched.

"I don't ask questions I'm payed and thats enough for me, if you want to know more ask my employers," said Dread rolling his eyes.

"I take it that king Evernence is your employer?"

"Why should I tell you?" asked Dread looking suspiciously at Aelin.

"You told me to talk to your employers so that's what I'm going to do." In a way... She stared at the assassin with a smirk on her face.

Dread looked at Aelin and swung at her with a loose plank he had been saving for this particular occasion.

She dodged the plank and grabbed his hand. Flame and shadow flickered across her body but she quickly got rid of them before he could notice. Aelin growled at him.

Dread looked at her in surprise and let go of the plank letting it fall to the ground.
"You have powers too?" asked Dread stepping away from Aelin.

She chuckled. "Yes I have powers. I am queen after all." Aelin mentally slapped herself. Well sh*t.

"You!", yelled Dread shapehshifting into a huge lion and snapping at the queen.

(( I have to go now, going to go to the beach bye ))

She smiled. "Well now that you know...yes I suppose it is me!" Aelin laughed.
